Hey guys, I was born in Sri Lanka but was brought up in Australia (19 yrs). A lot of the time, the conversation turns towards nationality and the reason for this is that girls point out that I have a ethnic tinge to my accent. Now, since the accents from the regions aren't perceived as "sexy" as say, English, this makes me really insecure and reluctant to "use my voice" because the idea of a dude with an accent trying to run game sounds so ridiculous. I'm fairly happy with my looks but sometimes I wish I had a different voice!

I'm just wondering how people with nerdy/bad sounding voices cope with this?
