taking it way too seriously, way to be the "fun guy" of the group

So well*. Why didn't you correct her grammar there and then?

how does one grind on a girl who is already being grinded? I don't understand how the girlfriend wouldn't just be like "what the fuck?" could work if it wasn't bf/gf but that's when confidence borders over in to assholeness

why the fuck can't any popular youtuber do a video without it cutting every 2-3 seconds? am I the only one who notices this? I know they do it to keep your attention but PLEASE, if your video has good content within the first minute I will stay for the rest.

apologize means sorry. nobody cares what word you use, an example of overthinking thigns right here
/r/seduction01/01/12 09:49 PM
1

usually drunk texts are hurtful.
/r/seduction01/01/12 09:06 PM
33

no, that's called being an asshole. if you said something genuinely hurtful, drunk or not, you should apologize. your post is why some sedditors will go out, act like an asshole and probably fail.

Basically : act (or be genuinely) interested in what the other person does and ask questions about it. form relative opinions/thoughts on the response you got.
/r/seduction22/08/11 07:06 PM
2

this guy is doing exactly that, wanting to have the attention of attraction for as long as he can (also in denial, too)
/r/seduction14/08/11 05:46 PM
2

ugly sedditors.
/r/seduction03/08/11 11:59 AM
2

I would ignore this if you aren't good looking. Attractiveness physically( this includes posture and things you CAN improve on) is the only reason this would ever work, if you are ugly, don't try it.
/r/seduction02/08/11 11:16 PM

what a terrible article.
/r/seduction02/08/11 02:58 PM

not true, why do guides like this exist then? part of the lifestyle is looking good.
/r/seduction01/08/11 10:15 AM

it depends how you carry yourself. if you age badly and don't do anything about it you won't be getting any young mistresses. by the time you get older though (40+) I imagine you actually want a relationship, rather than going sarging.

I never said I interact with insecure women a lot, did I? This subreddit is mainly for advice, and I was clarifying when and when not to use cocky behavior.
/r/seduction18/07/11 02:55 PM

sorry, some people don't have a special radar like you, and when encountering these women, we don't want to be dicks.
/r/seduction18/07/11 02:36 PM

not for girls who are genuinely insecure, but those fishing for compliments
/r/seduction18/07/11 12:44 PM

this is a bad trap to fall in, i did this a while ago (before even reddit days) , influenced by mark from Peep Show. you think people are laughing with you because they're laughing, but it's at you.
/r/seduction17/07/11 08:58 PM

because she'll be flattered that you used that as a reason, rather than put off. plus what you're saying is 100% the truth so you'll say it genuinely
/r/seduction17/07/11 08:56 PM

you can always do something to make yourself more attractive, of course i'm not saying go get plastic surgery, but there still is room for improvement on most people.
/r/seduction26/06/11 09:59 PM

can you improve your looks? perhaps post in /r/amiugly and /r/malefashionadvice. they will certainly help. also /r/malehairadvice i believe is the reddit.

/r/seduction08/06/11 09:07 PM

I did upvote you, but sometimes people (men and women) just aren't in the right mood, even though it's particularly rude to someone you haven't even met, you don't know why she acted like that.

you're not even out of her league man! quite a good looking gentleman if i say so myself! she's not that good - honest. she liked your picture too, just don't make her higher than you because she's not.
/r/seduction25/05/11 09:00 PM

If you speak with confidence you'll sound fine. You're stuck with your voice so instead of thinking about it, speak it. Man.
/r/seduction21/05/11 08:55 PM

Doing it to get chicks is counter productive, making that the goal will most likely make you needy and not alpha. I study so that I can become better at social environments and separate myself from others.

Acting "like a man" with no dominance = percieved as an asshole Can't just go around telling girls what to do. This FR's a bit terrible but there is a good message

/r/seduction15/05/11 01:42 PM

"I have a maths test" "So?" "Oh sorry, thought we were naming things we were going to cheat on" I quite like that ^ but saying "cheat" makes it sound immoral (in some ways it is) and harmful to others.

some say that because your sexual urges are higher you will be more confident, dominant, and more willing to get yourself out there. others, like you, say it's hard to concentrate properly with such urges. just what works for each person I guess. physically, masturbating will make you last longer. but I have 3 day intervals of masturbating - I do find I'm more confident when I don't - might be placebo though.

yeah. talking about sex life isn't even a serious topic if done correctly. clearly your room mate didn't execute it well and ruined it. don't be angry with him just talk to him next time in a non-condescending manner, but do tell him he did kind of ruin it.

it's hard to say that because she might not want to joke about her missing arm, but I would agree and if I had it too I would joke about it too, nobody wants to be the negative nancy right :)

With the weight issue, can you simply not lose weight? It WILL give you confidence trust me. And If you have manboobs, at least work out and lose weight so they're less obvious. I'm pretty sure with rugged training workout on your upper chest you'll look great man.

That's kind of a weird thing to say after not seeing her for a while man. If she's really far away, what is the point man, really? The most I'd do is ask her what she's up to etc.

I too have wondered about this. We, as humans, always want better things - often we are never satisfied. Which is evolutionary, the lazy, unwilling folk should,by nature be eradicated from our species. Anyway, since I'm young and never been in love, I can't really tell if you are in love or not. I think 'love' means that you are completely satisfied with your partner and wouldn't want to cheat on her, although this is different, clearly. My post hasn't provided any answers, but I'd suggest talki…

pretty much the entirety of seddit disagrees with you, so go find the examples of asshole behaviour by yourself.
/r/seduction17/04/11 06:46 PM
3

Being an asshole is doing something to make the other person feel worse, and you better. That's not what women desire - and is not what you should want to replicate.
/r/seduction17/04/11 03:42 PM
3

Hmm, I feel that if a girl actually wants to meet up, they're not going to ignore you because you asked them when they're free. I suppose it's always better to be safe and be assertive in what's going to happen, but kidding ourselves in thinking that because we weren't firm enough that's why they didn't reply is silly. It's lack of things in other areas such as comfort & willingness.

I would probably be a little shocked at most if someone were to genuinely correct me on my choice of foot - hence this thread. I feel that this subreddit is too strict on what is alpha and what is not, even when coming to little details (such as pansartax's hilarious joke). Right foot, it displays dominance because right is commonly seen as more masculine ( THIS IS GOOD) I would probably be a little shocked at most if someone were to genuinely correct me on my choice of foot - hence this thread. Don't worry, I dress well. I think I'm still going to wear it as it's pretty much a perfect fit, but I was contemplating not wearing it simply because it makes me seem child-like and lazy. Two undesirable traits.. Plus the best thing to do would be to donate it to a charity shop :)

That's all well and good, but if your physical appearance isn't up to scratch then neither will your game. I mean physical appearance by grooming & apparel. If you want some tips, go post a collection of pictures to : /r/amiugly and /r/malefashionadvice. If you're truly confident you'll be able to do that with no second thought, and take advice like a listening man.

How does one 'steer' the conversation towards sex without being blatently obvious/creepy?
/r/seduction16/04/11 05:49 PM

A laugh can be a friendly laugh, an intimdating laugh or just surprised, maybe it was a mix of all 3. To OP: if you make it so there isn't anything to laugh about, then they won't laugh. For that : /r/fitness /r/malefashionadvice and obviously /r/seduction :)

/r/seduction15/04/11 11:09 AM

you can pretty much open with anything and if you can keep the ball rolling it's hard to be unsuccessful
/r/seduction15/04/11 11:06 AM

yep, nervous laughter is a typical trait in classrooms. my psychology teacher taught me that, and when somebody is being interrogated and is in trouble, if they laugh the teacher should not say "WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?" because usually it's nervous laughter.

Facebook is fine, honestly. Since everyone has it, everyone's privacy is endangered! Yay! The worst thing about facebook I think is the ability to find out so much information about one person, through only ONE mutual friend. If a friend uploads an album of someone, and it contains 5 pictures of someone you don't know up until then, once that tag has been attached it's so easy to find out anything - quite scary really. Though, from a youth (quite ironic really, you could probably find my age if …

I was talking about confidence as a whole. A result of a compliment for a person with low confidence --> feeling good.
/r/seduction12/04/11 09:46 AM

This line works for some people, but not for others. Some people just can't seem to get out of their own rut until somebody makes them : e.g "you look really good today" will make someone realise that they are worthy. other than "I look really good today, and I am awesome". If you just don't give a fuck in the sense that nothing can put you down (not like a slob attitude) then you will go far

hmm... with the first mindset you are in assertive mode and desperately want to achieve your goals, and will feel upset if you do not. in the other mindset you might feel less motivated to get a girl, but will not feel upset if you fail. I think you need to have a good balance between the two, something like : "I will get on a girl tonight, but if I fail somehow then I won't care"

Act/be interested, usually people will have interesting opinions on subjects. Smile more often. Use peoples names more often, particularly when you meet them/leave them. I haven't actually finished reading it yet but I do recommend it, although it is a bit long winded sometimes. You could probably read the sumarised chapters and learn something, but I doubt it would have the same impact. So do read it!
/r/seduction20/03/11 09:27 PM

When she is talking, still provide some eye contact but you are of higher value and do not need to have that 'intensely listening' face. no, you do. you can't just be looking at her blankly when you do look at her. when you do look at her you need to be interested and stern. when you don't, well, you look away.

If you maintain eye contact all the way throughout the conversation you're going to seem a bit weird. denying eye contact is what you should be aiming for, not looking away in cowardness.

the more i've read /r/seduction and just general game tactics i've actually subconciously become less interested in porn. Which is quite surprisingly seeing as I'm almost 17 and full of manly testosterone.. That was a dick move about the guy asking you about your acne or whatever. Honestly, people associate acne with uncleanliness. It's unfortunate and incorrect but it is the truth. I'm not going to lie it's going to be difficult to attract girls when you have something distracting on your face. Just remember at least it will go away - and when it does you no longer have an excuse for not approaching people
/r/seduction13/03/11 02:08 PM

I somewhat agree, if you are friendly and memorable (tips, being polite, asking a few questions about drinks (which aren't annoying)) then that is a good way to become known and seen in a good light.

good VFR fab :) what a guy below said was true, that you can read 3 FR's (that's pushing it and skimming all of them) or 2 in the time, but, I actually took in what you said, normally on an FR i'll read it and won't really take it in. With this I actually take in what you are saying good job :). also you did umm and ahh a bit but that's fine, also don't touch your face so much even though it seems quite comforting (I notice I often fiddle with things when nervous)
/r/seduction07/03/11 05:43 PM

Nice video, was better than a regular FR. the part where you said "we collide, you do IR I do film.. it will never work" was a bit of an excuse as to why she said about a person. I would have said something like :listen im not hitting on you, i just saw you and thought you would be a nice person :). at least then you have made a friend.

not sure, maybe you were only doing light kino? by the way the line "naa, I just love meeting people" was a bit cheesy and a little try-hard in my opinion. something like "hmm, yeah I guess so!" with a shrug and a smile.

I was about to comment about pot dealers being high value men (WHAT!?) but then I realised this is tokyo, I heard it's really hard to obtain, expensive, and very illegal. Maybe it was china, I dunno - aren't they all the same!? (joke) but yeah usually pot dealers are pretty sleezy, at least here in England for me.

What music were the DJ's playing? If you want to stay all night, the atmosphere and music has to be immense - I don't imagine any drugs are being taken and staying up 24h is not appealing unless there's a bloody good reason to.

the woman obviously has to be of high caliber, and a lot of experience. if she is shy there is no way this would work she just wouldn't respond to it.

how is saying she can stay out longer a shit test? I think either the term 'shit test' is thrown about incorrectly, or I do not know the proper definition of one...
/r/seduction03/03/11 04:44 PM

isn't a shit test when she tries to find stuff about you? or assumes something?

these inner worries are the definition of AFC I believe - if you recognise it and don't act upon it that is beta. if you do act upon it that is alpha. to those who do worry before approaching just think "this is afc behaviour, do I want to be an afc? am I a AFC?" then it's up to you to decide the outcome. Good job by the way Stark! I particularly like what you said here : "I believe redirecting after going direct is important - it steers the conversation away from the "oh you're so beautiful and…

When I've had enough of raving I usually try to start up a conversation. Though, usually everyones either: a. dancing or b. sitting down monging out. One thing to avoid is the awkward conversations post-rave in the morning, everyone feels groggy and wants to go home - I usually joke about that with the little energy I have left XD

hmm I suppose it's simply recognizing nerves/shyness. It's easy to mistake similar signs like that into they still like you, when really they just want to get away.

That negging over texts/ do not too much negging is SO TRUE. I have a friend who basically his whole game is negging/teasing, and after about a week of trying to get with a girl he will come back and say "I was joking about blah blah, and then she was all serious and said : <serious comment towards my friend>" and he's puzzled by it. I try to tell him that he needs to stop teasing all the damn time cos they don't want to be teased to the state where they are genuinely annoyed!

Why take the risk though? It could potentially affect the rest of my life. It's not something I dwell on and it's only ~2 years so thanks anyway

In the style department I'm fine, it's often a matter of subject when conversing with a girl when the conversation starts to die out (part of a learning process!). Gym - I'm only 16, I want to wait till at least 18 to let my body grow naturally. I know you don't have to do deaflifts and squats to lose weight/tone up etc but I (and most of /r/fitness) feel a gym membership is pointless without 100% going for it and doing proper weights, which i'm not prepared to do though. Thanks for the post tho…

very true. parties which I attend about 30-40% people I do not know, the rest I do. I have noticed that being more confident and assertive certainly does make you connect with people better.

that was a bit of a poor sentence I do admit! I meant, clearly as this subreddit and other things exist for helping men, being bad with women is a habit which can be broken, but, would it be better to develop better habits earlier was my question.
/r/seduction16/02/11 06:55 PM

Users are allowed to ask questions. A book isn't a foolproof guide on how to pick up women, hence this reddit. It's about discussion on pickup techniques and advice. Yes, poor questions need to be directed to a pickup book or FAQ but the point of this subreddit is mainly to build confidence.

I agree, it's just the way the mind works. Higher reward = Higher risk. But. How do you know she is the perfect girl? You share a lot of common interests great, but what is she like as a person? there's still so many flaws to pick out on her, use them to find comfort in approaching her, knowing that she's probably not perfect. That sounds douche-like but will help you overcome your dazed state.

I don't think it's always necessary to get a number straight away, although not asking her may have just told her that you were just a nice guy introducing himself, as a friend. Make sure you let her know you are interested next time otherwise you will be sinking into friend zone

It's hard to tell you how to be nice. make sure they understand you're joking, it's either body language, facial expression or the way you are wording teases. or a combination of all of them. If you are genuinely bored then you're going to display : being bored. Try to change the topic to something you prefer.

coming from no professional or even alpha-male type, you did well. it's weird, there's so many books on how to approach, good one liners to start it off but I think the most someone can take from reading any of them is : Confidence. Fake it until you make it.
