These past few months on seddit really motivated me to start making changes, and although I'm not where I want to be yet, I definitely see progress with myself as a person. I decided to start hitting the gym 6 days a week, working out hard and eating so much better than I used to. I decided to try to bulk up and lose my slender frame, and I definitely see results. I go to a great school, would consider myself decently attractive, and now with my body getting better I'm stepping up my wardrobe as well. Things are going great in that aspect of self-improvement.

But I'm still not approaching girls, it's just some mental block that I have. I know that you have to just go for it, but I never fucking can. Right now, I began to read Manson's Models, and a lot of shit is really clicking right now. I realized that I'm just not naturally a vulnerable person, and I don't like to stick my neck out there with girls. But it's only with girls, I don't mind being vulnerable in any other situation... I usually say whatever the fuck I want to people I'm comfortable with... And I think that's my problem. I need to say whatever the fuck I want with people I'm not comfortable with as well.

The weird thing is though I can talk to some girls just fine. One of my best girl friends that I have met at school I have no problem speaking to about anything. I think she is attracted to me (I'm not attracted to her) which makes it easier to me to speak to her; because I already know that she likes me, and whatever I say won't change that?

What I'm trying to ask advice on is basically how can I be comfortable with being vulnerable with EVERYONE? I want to be able to approach girls. I am a virgin, but people never suspect it. My whole group of new friends at university all think I've had sex before... but in reality I have only made out with a few (and it's always when I'm drunk at a party). I'm home for the summer, working an awesome paid internship with great hours, and would love to start having some girls to talk to. I think vulnerability is my last step in self-improvement to begin actually approaching, but I don't know how to improve... thanks
