Hey guys, right now I'm at the stage where I'm trying to get into and maintain long term relationships with the woman I want.
In particular I'm able to meet the right woman, get on the relationship ramp, everything is awesome, sex is good, emotional connection gets very deep and she is almost exactly what I'm looking for. Then something happens and it unravels at lightning speed. This has happened twice already in the past year. So I did some research, and found the answer in attachment theory.
In particular, adult attachment theory, which is the state of the art in psychological research of love and relationship at the moment. Couples therapy based on attachment theory currently has the highest success rate over all other couples therapy. It has identified some blind spots and patterns that I hadn't known before.
Here's a book I highly recommend: http://amzn.to/1wpjhdh
Any one else have found this to be useful? Would be cool if we could come up with a few PU tactics based on attachment theory to help people like me get into and maintain the relationship that we want (if you're into that sorta thing).
TL;DR: Adult Attachment Theory is awesome, let's use it!
