I would like to focus on advice specifically pertaining to getting girls numbers at bus stations or on transit itself (bus/train). I would have a lot more confidence approaching girls if it wasn't for the fact that in these situations I feel like there is no way to really approach them without seeming creepy.

I generally only get the bus stop/transit/ walk to work as an opportunity to get a girls number. I go to work early in the morning and return around mid day/late at night. Are there any bad times to try to grab a girls # etc etc.
