Hey guys,
So I met a girl a couple of weeks ago out and about and we started talking, for about an hour, about work and hobbies etc. It was really flowing conversation, which was great. At the end of it, I got her business card.
Next day, I texted her a bit and the day after that, set up a meeting at her workplace about an initiative I figured would be mutually beneficial to our companies.
A few days after that, I called her and asked her what she was doing after work, and she said nothing. So I invited her out to a coffee shop with me. She came, (didn't get anything to eat or drink) and we had more lovely conversation for an hour and a half, before I had to leave (I had told her I was free until x time and would love her company, so maybe she didn't view it as a date before she arrived). During the "date" she talked a lot and there was definitely some chemistry. When we were leaving, I told her we'll do the same thing next week, and she picks the place.
The next morning I texted her, because I was thinking about her and I don't like to play games with text. I text when I feel like doing so. I told her I really enjoyed our time and complimented her on being easy to talk to. Her response was an unexpectedly curt "glad you had a nice time"
Before the coffee shop, she texted much more frequently, and openly. After, she's clammed up. It's a strange turn. I can't think of any behavioral changes I've shown, so I'm fairly confident this is her reevaluating the situation and deciding if she wants things to continue down a non-platonic path.
During the "date" there was no kino, as we were sat opposite each other, but I made lots of eye contact and used body language to let her know I was interested and with her. I used my words to do that too. So maybe she realized I was into her.
But I'm posting here because I'm curious what you guys think. Thoughts, anyone? Do you think there's something I did wrong?
