I am in some sort of club in college, and I sometimes have to work at the bar. (late nights, but lots of fun)

My question is though, what is the best way to sarge from behind a bar? I know it should be ideal, as I'm at the center of the attention and I have this sort of "power", but I have no idea how to keep someone's attention. I could offer them a drink on the house, but it goes absolutely against my beliefs, so I never do this.

Anyways, any advice for me?
