It was awkward, but I'm so proud of myself :)
I was walking home in my neighborhood when I see these two hot girls riding scooters in front of their house. I said a quick prayer and walked up and asked one of them if those were scooters they were riding (all I could think of lol). She said yeah, and I said, "That's pretty weird, dude." She started smiling, and I went up and introduced myself. Her name was Angie :)
I approached the other one (Gabbie) and had a longer conversation with her. And by longer, that also meant more awkward, haha.
Gabbie said she had a boyfriend, and I said, "Come on. We just met and you're already calling me your boyfriend" or something like that, which I got from here actually. She immediately started laughing, and I was like, "Hey, this is actually learnable!"
After leaving them, I could hear one of them whisper "that was really awkward" and giggled and I chuckled because that's exactly was thinking the exact same thing.
Both conversations were really awkward, but at least I did it and learned a some things about approaching that no amount of reading online could teach me (like taking your time when talking someone and being aware of your surroundings and using them to continue conversation).
Those girls were really hot though :) Will post details if anyone's interested.
