I'm visiting Tokyo for 1 month in a little while, and I'm interested in meeting some local girls. Language barrier will be s problem, so I'm interested in some advice on how to sharpen up for this.

I definitely want to get into some daygame here, so I'm thinking I can learn a few conversational phrases that lead into girls teaching me some of the language. I can already say "you're cute, you're cool, I love you(for goofy night game)" so I think perhaps I can sprinkle that in with some kino where the meat of the conversation is more like "I don't speak much Japanese but I want to learn, what's your name, my name is blah, what do you like to do.." etc. Can anyone advise/expand on this, or give some alternate suggestions?

Beyond that, does anyone have anecdotal pickup advice for a guy in a country where he can't speak the common tongue?
