So I'm recently single and in a bit of a transition period before starting university. I want to meet new people, especially women, and see what being with other people is like after 2 years of a solid relationship.

The thing is, I'm 18 and go to community college for this semester. Most people are older (C.C. usually has a gap year before it... or two... or three), like 20+, and I obviously can't go anywhere to drink. Overall I find it very socially lacking around my home town. My old highschool friends are busy with their own thing, and people at college are looking to get there, finish class, and race home to go work.

What can I do to break out of this pattern? The biggest issue I feel is the age difference, but am I just imagining a problem?
