At uni and flatmate invited her two best friends over that live around 300 miles away, we decided to go out on the town but one of her friends didn’t get let in the clubs because she was too drunk so we went back to the flat and everyone but me and ‘abbey’ fell to sleep and we decided to go back out just me and her.

We ended up walking around the city just talking from 2am - 5am and were both sobered up, got back to the flat and things got spicy 🌶 and she told me something similar to ‘I shouldn’t be doing this’ I said what does that mean she said ‘it’s nothing to do with her but something to do with me’ I got confused and she said ‘it’s not her place to say’.

Next morning abbey goes back to her hometown and I ask my flatmate ‘Kim’ what her best friend meant by that and she said she didn’t know.

Few days later we go out as a flat and ‘Kim’ tells me she likes me and that’s what abbey was hiding from me as she knew too and felt like she was going behind her best friends back by getting with me, stupidly I was drunk and said I liked her back too.

We have got with each other a few times in the last few weeks and all is good but the problem is for some reason I have feelings for her best friend abbey and feel bad about it and I’ve even told her this but she obviously doesn’t like it but said it won’t get in the way of us and she likes me that much she will let it go.

Last night I was in her bed and she said when her best friend comes over she thinks we will get with each other again and I didn’t deny it, I don’t know many girls that would put up with a guy saying this shit it’s crazy.

But yeah in a way I’m using her to get to abbey as I want Kim to tell her how good of a person I am etc and then when she comes over again maybe me and abbey will get together and things can progress if it happens a second time.

I’m just looking for advice of what you guys would do in my situation?
