I don't know the dating answer, but guys ask dating questions on a seduction sub all the time. I try to avoid the normies as much as possible.

In a seduction scenario, you don't actually feign indifference. Not if you actually want the chick.

Lemme illustrate with a cold approach scenario.

The thought process for most guys who don't do pickup, who don't do game.

1) This girl is attractive.

2) I will approach.

3) I will do something to make her like me. I don't care about anything other than her looks.

The guy with bit of Game - his mental process -

1) This girl is attractive.

2) I will approach.

3) Now that I'm interacting with her, does she bring more to the table than good makeup and a pushup bra?

This can be described as feigned indifference or the buyer's frame, etc. Especially in comparison to the horndog approach that most guys have.

But the player mentality is the exact opposite. He is very much interested in figuring out if the girl is worth his time and effort.

It really helps if you have had a long term relationship before, because you know first hand what it's like to put up with a girl's bullshit day in and day out. Most of the time you spend with a chick isn't having sex or cuddled up on the couch.

Is this the kind of girl that I'll drive back to the supermarket for because she forgot something?

Even if you're just a dick provider, you don't want to waste that on a poor quality chick.

The evaluating frame has side benefits, like sometimes the girl senses that she's being tested and wants to pass the test.

Sometimes a chick that is a social climber will think that only an alpha can afford to be picky.

The gurus sell that idea, but it's not that simple.

But evaluation is for evaluation.

Do you think there are guys who are consistently attracted to girls "above" their level? In terms of beauty, wealth, etc?

I don't subscribe to SMV or "levels" or number ratings. Money, past the amount she needs to have her own car and apartment, doesn't enter my assessment.

I move forward on the knowledge that girls like to fuck, and if she could fuck an elephant with zero downside, she would do it. The depth of a woman's private sexual thoughts/secret depravity is unknown. Unknown on purpose.

As for guys being attracted to "Laguna Hills" girls (God I'm old, can't think of a more current example of the perfect blonde cheerleader/sorority girl) - that's what society has been programming them to like. Just like girls are programmed to like One Direction and boy bands.

And if you don't like that, there are other flavours to try, pixie Asian girl, big titty goth girl, fake ass Instagram thots....

No, lack of success,specifically meaning body count, can be for all sorts of reasons.

A guy that is 5'9" is a midget online because girls set their height filter to 6'2" and above. (Funny how there is no weight or cup size filter)

On cold approach -
- he doesn't know what he's doing.
- poor body language.
- can't read social cues.
- lack of persistence.
- inexperience with chats and female behavior.
- poor self image.
- bad style.
- bad grooming.
- language/cultural barriers.

Etc.

There are as many problems as there are guys. .
