So I have been stereotypically a relationship guy, despite forays in university, most of my twenties have been filled either by relationships and study. After coming out of a nearly 5 year relationship I am recently single M29. This is fine, all good, but I guess I do have to get reacquainted with the single thing.
One of my sticking points at the moment, is trying to project a positive frame while not coming across as needy, but balancing this not feeling that personal guilt of talking to multiple ladies at once. I'm a Capricorn, if that means anything, but I do value and put pride in loyalty also quite a lot, but I feel this is at loggerheads with not being viewed as needy and talking to multiple girls at once.
I'm not naïve to the fact that most ladies I talk to will be talking to other people, as will I but I think this is at loggerheads with loyalty. Old habits die hard as they say.
I think maybe from a mindset perspective my mind is probably used to a deeper connection being around which was previously present, but now theres a gap there and its a big step back. I know texts should be primarily logistics and I need to be selfish to my own needs etc. but these things are at loggerheads with a piece of my personality which is ingrained into me.
Any thoughts or opinions on it, has anybody experienced the same, would be keen to hear?
I think my end goal would be a relationship, as i'm at crunch time also to start a family, but want to get into the mindset of having fun while I can too.
