It's in your biology to choose mates who can provide a stable environment, feed and protect you while you're pregnant. Nerds have only fairly recently come into their own, as society changes into an environment where a high-paid job provides more security than muscles do.

There's an innate recognition that muscles and a strong personality means that your man has a good chance of helping you both survive a pregnancy, therefore a man who is part-brute will always attract the sexual affections of women.

You may not have thought much about your behaviour, but I bet if you do, you'll find you actually encourage him to manifest his power, when you want sex. Women often tease or provoke their men to elicit a strong (borderline-animalistic) sexual response... then simply "give into" it when it comes to the surface.

That's where phrases like "take me" come from.

In fact, young women go through a phase where they bait their man about pretty much anything, looking to provoke a show of strength or passion. Women test relationships this way, and have often been inclined to leave their partner, if he's too weak willed.

Sometimes you're just not aware that you're doing it, but when you get the response you were looking for, part of you says "why is he raising his voice?" while another part is glad he did. Someone who is too easy-going and says "yes dear" all the time isn't at all sexy, is he?
