You don't have to BE high value (right now), and you don't have to fake it either: borrowing value from your future self.
This is a response to this post that hit the top for a day last week, which I think insinuates a stupid binary that doesn't exist.

I wonder if there was a survey what percentage of guys would be ranked below average and above average in terms of success.
It doesn't matter. What matters, especially for the vast majority of us here who are in our 20s, is whether or not we are on the path to having a high-value life outside of game.
If you have direction in life, are on your path, and are taking action towards your goals that aren't related to women, you can borrow value from your future self. Of course, living a high-value life and having high-value experiences are great, but when you're reasonably young, your potential is just as important. Now, you can't just have delusions of grandeur, this is why taking action is important.
Think of it as a time travel movie. Right now let's say you're broke, obese, and unemployed. One version of you is hitting the gym, improving his diet, and busting his ass trying to find a job. The other version is just sitting around eating Cheetos. If version one looks through magical future goggles, what does he see? He sees himself a couple of years down the line in shape and working, moving on to whatever his next goals are. Version two sees himself munching the latest brand of Cheetos. Version one can borrow value from his future self, version two can't.
I wonder how many guys in the seduction community are actually high value vs how many of them are trying to create the illusion of high value.
You don't have to fake anything. If you are borrowing value from your future self, you are being authentic. Women love (genuine) potential. You can signal that your potential is genuine by actively working towards your goals.
If more than 60% of the guys are more invested on their game instead of their career, that'd mean there's something collectively wrong with this community.
It isn't a fucking binary. Don't listen to this hyperbolic goober. Invest in both. You don't have to go full degenerate mode and spend 5 nights a week at bars and clubs. There is plenty of time in the week for the average guy to work, hit the gym, gain some knowledge, and go out.
Are there limitations to this principle? Of course. Older women value potential less than younger women. Women of any age care much more about your accomplishments vs your potential if you're an older man. If you're just starting out in your career, there are circles of wealth/class that you simply won't even be aware of or welcome in. With all that being said, there is still A TON of room for you to meet amazing women while you're on your come-up. Don't let some fucking moron convince you that you have to go monk mode and be celibate while you're working on your career.
In the absolute best case, you could hit the jackpot. You could find an amazing woman now who believes in your potential and is by your side the whole way up (example, Dee Devlin). How fucking awesome would that be? Of course, meeting an awesome woman when you're already successful is great, but boy wouldn't it be amazing to have someone invested in you right now?
TLDR: You don't have to be "high-value" right now, or fake value to meet great women. If you're genuinely on your path, you can borrow value from your future self and be completely authentic.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
