(I haven't studied how to build attraction yet, so what you guys could help me here with is a shortcut or explanations on what I did wrong)
Met this girl through common friends, no IOI's from both sides at all. By then she had a boyfriend and now they are not together anymore, even though she's in constant contact with him. Since the breakup was so recent, I decided to not make any move.
During a recent gathering with a few friends, I asked aloud if people have seen a movie that was going on the theater and she said "we should go see it". Fast-forward one day prior to movie, I invited her for wine at my place and she accepted. She even engaged, asking me which kind of food to bring and buying it. Summary of the night: intellectual talk, many signs of disinterest from her and no advance from my side. Funny thing is she saying yes to my invitations but assuming a defensive position - coming to my place for wine, sitting on my bed after my suggestion but sitting far away facing 90º degrees and talking while not looking at me, saying she could go watch the movie alone etc.I've read somewhere it's not rare for extremely introvert girls to do opposite body language, so it was still dubious for me. So I decided not to advance in order to not ruin cinema the next day.
At the cinema, from beginning to end no IOI's so far but she was more comfortable with my presence: even after movie we came again to my place for a quick snack before an event she had to go (my place was on the way). This time we stood only at the kitchen and she was still distant.
One thing is clear - there is no attraction. WhatsApp messages are short and with not much interaction. I couldn't open her and I'm still figuring out what are topics to start, so far that's what I found: insecure about her career - still studying after many years and feels unclear about her future (I mistook it as being an indecisive person, but she proved the opposite), loves watching good movies, responded positively to questions about her personality and reads tons of books (not novels). Just an example: talking about other topics on WhatsApp wasn't very fruitful... Then I asked a recommendation for book and she sent tons of suggestions, even asked a friend for help. Talking about music doesn't work much. She talked about clubs with me, but it was something very quick and right now I see no point in inviting her to a club (also wouldn't be congruent, but let me know if you think differently).
That's it, the girl's a mystery. I tried asking more questions to open her, she replied, but there is still no attraction. She can even be fucking her ex or someone else and I have no clue.
UPDATE:
She was interested. We had sex. Read my comment for details.
