I was out with my brother who is extremely new to game and doesn't do any reading and basically goes by what I tell him, which is just the basics ie, be clear with your intentions, be confident, escalate etc. So we're in the mall and I see these two cute girls about our ages (I'm 18 he's 22). So I tell him that we're gonna go talk to him so I go in. I immediately ask for one girl's number and get it. We then start kinda bullshitting. Just general stuff like "Where are you from" and things along those lines. My poor brother is just kinda standing there like a sad giraffe barely talking while I'm talking to these girls (primarily the one who's number I got) while trying to get my brother into the convo. So long story short he did not follow my advice and appeared as though he wanted to be friends with them and nothing else. Meanwhile I'm actually trying to pick this/these girls up. They were giving slight IOIs but nothing to big. So I wondering if him seeming like he just wanted to be friends somehow lessened my chances of picking one of these girls up.
