Hey guys, you all helped me w a fling I was dealing w a while back, like over a year ago lol. I was wondering if you all had any advice for current situation I’m in.

 

There was a girl I was talking to (I’m 25 and she’s 24). We hung out a couple times and I escalated as much as I could given the circumstances. Ended the last night w a kiss. I felt like we both enjoyed each other’s time as we had hung out multiple times and was open to hanging again. However, I was in the midst of switching jobs and caught up w A LOT of life stuff and we kind of broke things off/slowed things down, but civilly. I kind of let her know I did like her, but the circumstances at the moment weren’t the best.

 

Fast forward about a month or so after that and she’s posting a guy on her story. I view it and then she removes me as a friend, ok that’s fine, she was respecting her relationship I guess. Months passed after that and I kind of forgot about it. But about a week ago she popped up on my recommended friends. I clicked her profile and discovered her relationship status was now single (used to say in a relationship w …)

 

I never had her on facebook so I decided to add her on snapchat, which is how we mostly communicated before. She accepted me and shortly after she added me to her private story so I thought we could kind of continue where we left off. I watched a small amount of her stories over the last few days but didn’t try to grab her attention. However yesterday I texted her something along the lines of “I know this is a little out of the blue, but I’ve been going to a park that’s near my house to spend some time outside of the house and I would love for you to join me.”

 

She proceeded to open it and not reply. She opened it at about 5 am, its 10 now. Safe to say she probably not replying lol.

 

 So my question to you all is is there any way that I could gain her interest back? I’m not about to blow her up w messages or anything as that’s not my forte, but I would like to spend some more time w her and try to get things a little further than we did last time because I did vibe w her pretty well. Is this possible? Or do I just keep my distance?
