Bro you waited two days you should have texted her that night, she had two days to forget about you. I wouldn’t call it an L just keep it pushing I’m sure your friend will bring her around again and then do your thing bro, but yea don’t try again you all ready planted the seed of how cool you are you don’t need to do anything else

i shouldve texted her at 3am when she was dealing with her drunk friend ? problem is our mutual friend is not that much a friend of mine just a bro from college and I don’t see myself telling him to bring that girl again. anything i do from now on seems a bit too pushy

Yea you could have texted her that night saying, “hey I had fun with you I hope to see you soon” or “hey are you ok with your drunk friend there? Let me know if you need a hand wink face” either way pursuing it any further is pointless just believe that you’ll cross paths again.

'I know you're taking my number just to be nice and that you won't text me'. That's a red light. She's insecure as fuck. Not your fault, though if you really wanted her, you should have just texted her the other day, assuming that you weren't busy. Also calling might have creeped her out a bit. I don't understand why PUAs insist on calling. I get it, you're ballsy, but people will usually stay with you on the phone when they're comfortable with you. Texting is enough when you're trying to get the first date.
You can definitely ask her out again in a week. She's in a state called auto-rejection. Sadly you can't really turn it around over text. It's kinda hard. Wait a week then text her something like 'Hey stranger, how about we go get some drinks, just the two of us, so we make sure no third party will make it mess things up again' or something flirty along those lines. If she still says no, just text her 'well, let me know if you change your mind' and drop it.

That’s exactly what I told her when she said that, I asked why so insecure and she told me it’s not her being insecure it’s just what she thought and I didn’t comfort her or told her that I would text her to go get drinks. I just took the number with no justification I think that’s a mistake.
For the calling don’t worry I’m really not on the PUA vibe or anything. I just wanted to have a 5min chat, use some inside jokes from that night etc to give some comfort. It would have been too long by text that’s just it. And with other women I had some good comments for my phone call. I think it’s mostly dependent on interest level.
For the auto-rejection, I think you really put your finger on it man. That’s probably something like that and I don’t understand how a stunning woman like her would think that way. Anyway my last text was asking her for drinks, I should just text the same thing a week later? Or rebound on her no and insist/deviate? One sure thing is that if she still denies I’m done.
If I knew I could meet her again I would just do nothing but it seems so unlikely to happen that it makes me try again my luck and risk lowering totally her interest.

Wow so you actually told her that she's insecure. You totally made her feel like shit and she auto-rejectes. You also came off as a bit needy. That's a pretty big fuck up.
Did something similar with a girl on Tinder who seemed to be really into me. At some point I called her a stalker but I was just flirting. She was insecure herself and she became butthurt and we stopped talking. Waited a couple of weeks and I re-engaged. I finally got her phone number and she agreed on a date. I texted her a week later and she said she was busy. I told her that I'm not gonna insist and that if she still wants to see me she should let me know. She saw that I was pulling back and she told me that she was genuinely busy and that she hoped the offer was still up in a week. I told her again that it will be up and that she should get in touch when she frees her schedule. Haven't talked in a month. She's still auto-rejecting and I'm convinced that if I'm gonna text her I will probably get a date. It kinda sets me on a chasing frame though so I'm not gonna do it. We follow each other on insta though so there's her open door.
