If you can't get a nice one, don't get one. It's better to have no smell than to smell like cheap cologne.

I believe colognes smell differently for everyone so try some that smell good on your skin. I usually do about two sprays and it's good. I use Acqua di gio and get tons of compliments on it

I would go to the store and try out multiple ones, and find the one you like. Usually you can try a sample.

There are many, many colognes, and most of them (in my opinion) smell "good." You have to choose what works best for you.

I would suggest going to a department store and asking a worker his/her opinion. They know whats hot, whats new, etc.

A youtuber (can't remember who, sorry!) said that when you find something you like, leave the store and talk a walk / buy a coffee to refresh your sense of smell which is saturated by all of the colognes. When you return, immediately go for the cologne you liked. I tried this and I realized that a cologne that was upwards of $70 was not actually as good as I thought it was.

You want to put cologne on what is called "pulse points." These include the chest, neck, wrists, inside of the arms. This is because when you are in close contact with a girl this is what she will be smelling.

Don't do an "axe" and spray your entire torso. That's an expensive headache for everyone near you.

(Actually, everyone hates on Axe but there is honestly nothing wrong with it. It is cheap and smells good. If you put too much then, yes, you are going to smell like a high school locker room, but you shouldn't be putting too much of any cologne)

Consider a odorless deodorant/antiperspirant to control sweat/body odor and cologne on pulse points.

BRUT. j/k. I normally do one spray on my chest. Make sure you are clean before you apply it. (best to apply after a shower). There are some cheap ones out there around 20$ that are just as classy. Davidoff - cool water, CK one, come to mind. For around 30$, you can get issey miyake which is quite popular and well known. goodluck.

i keep some on hand. go to a department store find the most well kept/perky attendant and ask them what sells the most and the one they prefer.

i lean towards mont blanc but there are others that are nice.

less is more, little on the wrist and then just spread it everywhere on your body with your other wrist

I love to go to Macys when I need a new scent and just ask random girls how they think this smells on me... Sounds weird but it helps you with social interactions and gives you a perspective of what a women would like as a scent..
