In this post, you’re going to learn the exact step-by-step system I use to meet and attract women during the day.
By following the process outlined here, you’ll be able to go on dates with - or even sleep with - several women every single week (if you’re so inclined).
Strategy Is Key
Most guys who go out to meet women do not have a clear plan for how to get the results they want, they just throw themselves out there and hope something good will happen.
H. K. Williams astutely said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.”
Basically, if you don’t have a blueprint for what you should be doing while you’re out meeting women, you’re going to do what’s comfortable instead of what gets you results.
You’re about to learn exactly how to structure your day game sessions so that you can reliably get dates with high quality women - whenever you want to.
Know Your Goal
Ask yourself what your ideal day game session looks like:
Do you want to set up dates with as many attractive women as possible?
Or, do you want to bring a girl directly home with you?
Meeting a girl during the day and bringing her home with you within hours of meeting her is definitely possible, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a goal when you’re new to day game.
Pulling from day game is substantially more complicated than just getting a woman’s number and setting up a date with her.
The majority of girls you approach during the day aren’t going to be able to go home with you - either because they have other plans or because it’s too unusual to sleep with a guy they just met in broad daylight.
In contrast, when you go on a date with a girl, she’s already set aside time in her day specifically to hang out with a guy she likes, there’s a very good chance she’s interested in sleeping with you.
On a date, the odds are stacked in your favor.
But if you’re trying to pull a girl directly from day game - whether at a mall, university campus, or a busy street - the odds are stacked against you.
Because of this, going for the pull isn’t very time efficient. You could easily spend an hour talking to a girl only to get turned down when you invite her to your place.
In that same hour, you could have set up dates with several women instead of taking a gamble by spending all your time trying to pull one girl.
I wouldn’t recommend making your goal to pull until you’re getting consistent results with the simpler strategy of approaching women to set up dates (if you want me to link a guide to pulling, let me know in the comments).
It’s much easier to set up dates, and even if your goal is to get laid as much as possible, getting numbers is a more effective strategy than going for the pull (in day game at least, in bars and clubs, the situation is different). The only advantage to trying to bring women home with you from day game is that it’s ‘epic’, it makes for a good story.
But ask yourself, are you doing this to have a good story, or do you want to attract and date the highest quality women possible?
Be Efficient
Imagine you’ve decided you want to improve your shot in basketball.
So, you set aside two hours to learn as much as possible.
Which of these strategies would be more effective?
Going to a basketball court and taking hundreds of shots with a little as little time between them as possible?
Or going to a basketball court and taking 10 shots before spending the rest of the two hours standing around thinking about how you could improve your shot?
Of course, the former approach would be far more effective than the latter.
Sadly, most of the men who practice day game use the equivalent of the second strategy rather than the first.
These guys walk around for hours looking for the perfect girl to approach. It’s not unusual for a guy to only approach 1 or 2 girls in an entire 2-hour game session.
When you go out to meet women, time is your most valuable asset.
Every minute you spend thinking about whether you should approach a particular girl is a minute that you’re not making progress - it’s akin to standing around and looking at the basketball hoop instead of just taking a shot.
Look, I know this might sound like a hardcore mindset, but using your time effectively can make the difference between being a guy who dabbles and gets dissapointing results from game, and being a guy who consistently goes on dates with amazing women.
Beyond that, the more of your time you spend interacting with women, the more fun you will have when you go out.
When you approach several women consecutively, your thinking mind will stop bombarding you with excuses and worry and negative ideations of what might happen to you.
Instead, you will be shoved into the present moment where you are driven by pure instinct rather than ego (for more about this, see this video about social momentum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhmTUyDZc6M )
Play The Numbers Game
If you could go out and have conversations with 2 women that lasted 30 minutes each, or conversations with 15 women that lasted 4 minutes each, which do you think would lead to more dates?
In my experience, the latter strategy is far more effective: you’re going to get better results by having a large number of short interactions, rather than a small number of long interactions.
Keep in mind, many of the factors that determine whether a woman will go on a date with you are random: she might have a boyfriend, you might not be her type, she might be a lesbian, she might just be having a terrible day and she doesn’t want to meet a guy at the moment.
Because of this, you can easily have an hour long conversation with a girl only to find out that she’s not single or not interested in you.
In that same hour, you could have approached 10 women and there would be a very high chance that you’d meet at least one girl who is
a. you’re genuinely attracted to.
b. is genuinely attracted to you.
c. is romantically available.
Generally, when you approach a girl and talk to her for 5-10 minutes, that’s enough time for her to have a good idea of whether she wants to go on a date with you.
It doesn’t take long for a girl to know whether she feels any chemistry or not.
When you only approach a few women in an entire game session, the chances of getting any dates is low, but when you approach 10 or even 20 women, you’re likely to meet several women who will be excited to see you again.
I’m not saying you should focus on quantity over quality, you should focus on getting quality through quantity.
Just because a girl is cute, doesn’t mean you’re going to have a strong connection with her; by approaching a lot of women, it’s much more likely you’re going to meet someone who you have great chemistry with.
The Venue
In most cities, university campuses are the best place to meet women during the day.
The average school has thousands of people walking around campus that you can meet.
I would consider approaching at a university even if you aren’t taking classes there (Unless you’re much older than the average college student. If a girl asks if you’re a student, just say you’re meeting a friend on campus).
Malls are another good option for meeting women in many cities.
Some malls are better than others, but in general, there are a decent number of attractive women who go shopping at the mall.
Some cities have great day game locations other than college campuses or malls: this includes beaches, streets with a lot of foot traffic, parks, etc.
The best option will depend on your city, but regardless of what city you’re in, there should be a decently popular mall and college campus. Those are universally solid options.
Generally, college campuses will have the most opportunities, but if you’re older or you don’t have time to go out before the evening, malls may be the best choice.
 :
Direct Versus Indirect Game
Women rarely get approached by men while going through their day-to-day lives.
And when a girl does get approached during the day, it’s usually by a salesman or a canvasser collecting signatures.
If you walk up to a girl during the day, she’s likely to assume you want something from her. Because of this, direct openers are particularly effective for day game.
When you start a conversation with a girl using a direct opener, she won’t assume you’re a salesmen, she’ll know you’re interested in meeting her.
Here's an example of myself approaching a girl with a direct opener:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAowN9FwgpQ&feature=youtu.be
Furthermore, a direct approach shows a lot of confidence. It’s unusual for a guy to walk up to a girl and tell her she’s cute in broad daylight. If you can do that, you’ve already set yourself apart from most other men.
If you want a simple direct opener you can use, I’ve found the following to be effective, “Hey, I know this is random, but I thought you were cute and I had to say hi.”
Although direct openers are effective for day game, an indirect compliment can work well, too (I.E. “Hey, I saw you walking by and I had to say that I like your style.“
As a general rule, if you’re new to day game, approaching directly will get you the best results.
Being direct will get you rejected: some girls will immediately tell you they have a boyfriend or they don’t have time to talk.
But this is actually a good thing, because if you approach indirectly, girls who are not interested in you at all will still talk to you.
By making your intentions clear from the beginning, you are giving the girl the opportunity to reject you now, instead of 30 minutes from now.
Keep in mind that about half the girls you approach during the day will have a boyfriend, but they’re not going to tell you so unless they think you’re interested in them.
A direct approach acts like a filter that immediately screens out most of the women who are unavailable to you.
Additionally, a decent percentage of women will respond positively to your direct compliment, and that makes the rest of the interaction easy: you and the girl both know the interaction is sexual in nature and she’s already tacitly admitted that she is at least somewhat interested in you.
What to say after your approach
If you don’t know how to keep a conversation going after the opener, this post ( https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/a3quam/how_to_generate_interesting_conversations_out_of/ ) is a comprehensive guide to never running out of things to say again.
Different Sets
Now you know what to say to start a conversation with a girl during the day. But how do you deal with the different situations that might come up?
Approaching a girl who’s sitting down is different than approaching a girl who’s walking.
Approaching a girl who’s by herself is different than approaching a girl who’s with a group.
In this section, you’re going to learn how to deal with each of the common approach situations you’ll come across in day game.
If She’s Sitting Down
A woman who’s sitting down isn’t in a hurry to be anywhere. Nine times out of ten, she’s not doing anything important, and even if she is, she’d most likely welcome an opportunity to take a break.
Once you’ve walked up and said your opener, notice if the girl is holding eye contact with you and engaging in the conversation.
If not, I recommend you just tell her to have a nice day and move on. You don’t need to waste your time fighting to change a girl’s mind when she’s giving you clear red lights.
If the girl does seem interesting in talking to you, it’s good to sit down next to her - it’ll make your approach feel less like a pickup and more like a date.
To do this, I say, “Is it okay if I sit down for a second?”
Normally, I don’t recommend asking for permission (it’s better to lead assertively).
However, in this particular case, you’ve just met this girl. By asking her if it’s okay to sit, you are communicating to her that you care about how she feels - which will help create trust.
Within the first few minutes of an interaction, make sure to ask the girl, “What are you up to right now?” Her answer to this question will give you an idea of how much time she has to talk.
If she’s meeting someone or leaving soon, you know that you need to get her number and make plans with her in the time frame she gave you. Otherwise, you can take things at your own pace.
Overall, approaching a girl who’s sitting is pretty straightforward.
If She’s Walking
When a girl is walking towards you, you have two options: you can go for the ‘hard stop’ or you can walk with her.
Going for the hard stop is more assertive, but it’s risky. When a girl is walking, she’s on a mission to go somewhere. If you try to stop her, you’ve become an obstacle to her goal.
Sometimes, the girl will refuse to stop for you, and this means the conversation has started on a bad note.
The safer move is to walk with her - you’re asking for much less from her that way, and therefore, she’s less likely to reject your approach.
Now, if a girl is walking away from you, it’s important that you don’t start talking to her while you’re behind her, doing so will likely startle her.
Instead, you should get in front of her (without stopping), and make eye contact with her before you start the conversation.
Walk (or jog) until you’re a couple feet in front of the girl (while also giving her some space to her side), then you can start a conversation as you walk with her.
Your main goal here is to make the girl aware of your existence before you start talking. By getting in front of a girl, she’ll be able to look you in the eyes before you start talking to her - this will be much more comfortable for her than if she hears a random person trying to say something to her from behind.
You should expect to do this wrong a few times while you’re still getting the hang of it. Even if you’re approaches aren’t smooth at first, you can usually turn it around. Opening is like landing a plane: it doesn’t need to be perfect to work.
After you’re in a conversation with the girl, find out where she’s going. If she’s not doing anything, you know that you don’t need to rush.
Conversely, if she’s late to work or otherwise in a hurry, you know that you only have a couple minutes to get her number and make plans for later. Unless the girl is in a huge rush, you should stop her at some point if possible. A face-to-face interaction gives you the opportunity to hold stronger eye contact and get the girl’s undivided attention: it’s more intimate than walking side-by-side.
When do you ask a girl to stop? When she is enjoying your company and would rather you stay than leave. At this point, she’s probably going to be happy to stop walking and chat with you for a minute.
There’s no exact rule for this, it’s something you’ll get a feel for with experience. But as general guidelines, if she’s laughing, smiling, asking you questions, playing with her hair, or slowing down the pace at which she’s walking, those are all signs that you should ask her to stop.
To do this, simply say, “Hey, can we talk here for a second?” More often than not, she’ll agree. If she doesn’t agree, that’s fine - it often just means that she’s in a hurry to get somewhere.
If you want to a approach a girl who is walking towards you, walk towards her. If you notice her slowing down for you, you can probably stop her. If she doesn’t slow down, just say your opener as you walk towards her and then turn around to go with her.
If She’s Wearing Headphones
If you walk up to a girl and notice she’s wearing headphones, simply point to your ears as a way to politely ask her to take them off for a second.
I can’t remember a time when a girl refused take off her headphones when I approached her. It might seem like you’re bothering her, but she’s probably just listening to music (meeting a cool guy is much more interesting).
If She’s With A Friend
When a girl is with a friend, approaching her creates a high pressure situation. If you blatantly hit on the girl you like, but you don’t pay much attention to her friend, the friend is going to feel alienated, and there’s a good chance she will ‘cock block’ you. Make sure you give attention to both girls, just make it clear which girl you’re attracted to and which one you see in a platonic light.
At the same time, you don’t want to be too blatant about hitting on a girl who’s with a friend - directly complimenting the girl you’re interested in might make her friend feel jealous.
When you’re talking to the girl you’re less attracted to, be friendly, just don’t be physical with her, don’t tease her, and don’t hold prolonged eye contact with her.
To approach two girls, you can adjust your opener like so, “Hey, I like your guys’ style so I had to say hi,” or, “I thought you guys looked cute so I had to introduce myself.”
Oftentimes, one girl will be more engaged in the conversation than the other. It’s your responsibility to notice this and include the other person. If you can’t think of a way to include the second girl, simply ask her a question so that she doesn’t feel excluded.
To ask the girl you like to hang out, you can either inclusively say something like, “You guys are fun to talk to, we should grab a drink together sometime.” Or, you can directly invite the girl you like to hang out. Doing this might make the friend feel jealous but it lets you get straight to the point. Either strategy can work, do whichever you prefer.
If She’s With A Guy
What if you see a beautiful girl walking down the street, but she’s with a guy?
Obviously, there’s a good chance they are together. As you get more experience approaching women, you’ll get a better intuitive sense as to whether they’re friends or lovers, but you can never know for sure.
Honestly, if I see a cute girl with a guy during the day, I usually just don’t approach her. The chances that you’ll be able to make something happen in this situation are relatively low. Sometimes the guy is just a friend, but even then, there’s a good chance he likes the girl and isn’t going to respond positively to competition (he’s not going to fight you, but he’s not going to be your cheerleader either.)
I’ll approach a girl with a guy in two situations:
If I’m in a venue that just doesn’t have many girls to approach. In this case, it’s better to approach a girl with a guy than just to walk around doing nothing. If I see a girl who I’m extremely attracted to is with a guy. When you see a girl who’s exactly your type (the kind of girl you might consider a ‘perfect 10’). In my mind, there’s no excuse not to at least approach her. If you do approach a girl with a guy, your best option is to open by directly complimenting the girl.
Afterwards, ask, “Wait, how do you guys know each other?” If they say they’re friends or relatives, you can talk to them for a couple minutes and then grab the girl’s number.
If they say they’re together, just reply, “Oh, sorry to interrupt you guys, have a good one.”
Sometimes, a guy will lie about being in a relationship with a girl, but in a daytime environment, confronting them about it isn’t likely to lead to a date. In this situation, you should just go approach other women.
When you approach a girl who’s with a guy, you don’t want to spend much time chit-chatting, it’s not likely you’ll get the guy on your team, so it’s best to just make a good impression on the girl, get her number, and move on.
If She’s In A Group of 3 or More
Approaching a group of 3 or more is a lot like approaching two girls, with one key difference: you want to spend less time in the interaction. It’s difficult to keep a smooth conversation running with 4 people you just met. So, the best thing to do is talk for a couple minutes and then get the number of the girl you like.
Approaching Women During The Day
That’s everything you need to know about how to start conversations with girls during the day.
As you practice approaching women, pay close attention to the way girls are responding to your approach - are they usually smiling, laughing, and blushing?
Or, do they tense up and look uncomfortable. If it’s the latter, think about what you might be doing to get that reaction: Are you being too confrontational? Are you holding strong enough eye contact?
Over time, you’ll get a better sense of what works and what doesn’t, this will allow you to start the vast majority of your approaches on a very positive note. But keep in mind, even if an approach is awkward at first, you can often change the girl’s first impression within a few minutes.
Now you know how to start an interaction with a girl during the day, but what do you do after you’re opener? In the next section, you’re going to learn how to make a strong impression on the women you approach so that they will be enthusiastic about meeting you for a date.
Day game Physicality
You don’t need to be physical when meeting women during the day. A light touch on the shoulder or arm is fine, but it’s not necessary and being physical with a girl you just met in broad daylight can make her uncomfortable. If your goal is to pull a girl, physicality is definitely useful, but if you’re going out to set up dates with women during the day, you don’t need to be physical at all.
Make A Strong Impression
After you approach a girl during the day, your goal is to have a conversation that makes her wonder “Who is this guy? Why is he so confident? I never get to meet a guy like this.” If you make a strong enough impression on a girl, she will want to see you again.
The emotional impact you have on a girl is determined not just by what you say, but also by how you say it. The quality of your eye contact, vocal tonality, and your body language will often determine whether a girl feels attracted to you or not.
Understand that most women will give you their number whether or not they like you- it’s easier for a girl to exchange numbers with you than it is to say no and risk getting in a confrontation.
So, you shouldn’t judge how ‘good your game is’ based soley on how many numbers you get. What matters is the quality of your numbers - how often do they lead to dates?
If the percentage is, say, 10%, that’s a sign you should work on creating a stronger emotional impact through your nonverbal and verbal communication. If you make a girl feel butterflies in her stomach when you approach her, she will want to see you again.
Sure, some women will flake on you because they’re just not interested in casual dating or they may have a boyfriend they failed to mention.
However, if few of your phone numbers are leading to dates, it’s probably because you’re not creating the spark of sexual tension. Fortunately, that’s something you can learn to trigger reliably with the strategies in the following video: https://youtu.be/ArpKv8EqEs0
You shouldn’t expect to have strong sexual chemistry with every girl you approach, but if you do enough things right, you will have strong chemistry with many of the women you approach - and most of those women will be excited to go on a date with you.
Closing
Any time you talk to a girl and you sensed there was any chemistry, you should set up plans to hang out with her later. The simplest way to do this is to say, “Hey, it’s been fun talking to you, we should hang out sometime, what’s your number?”
Now, getting a girl’s number is good, but setting up a date with her is better. In psychology, there’s a principle called commitment and consistency.
Put simply, it means that if you get someone to consciously agree to do something with you, they are much more likely to follow through on those plans.
Here’s what this looks like in practice: start by asking the girl something like, “Hey, you’re fun to talk to, we should get coffee sometime.”
She’ll (hopefully) say, “Yeah, that sounds good!”
Respond by saying something to the effect of, “Cool, what are you doing on Thursday evening?”
If she’s free, you can set plans for that day. If she says, “I’m busy on Thursday,” then you can follow up by asking when she’s free this week. (She may say she’s not free at all this week, in which case you can just get her number and make plans over text.)
Once you’ve agreed on a day and time, it’s natural to get her number to solidify your plans.
When you get a girl’s number this way, you don’t have to ‘game’ her via text, you just have to confirm the plans. (To do so, you can text the girl a few hours before your date something to the effect of, “I’ll see you at Starbucks at 7 pm tonight :)” If she doesn’t respond, you can assume she’s not going to show up.)
Of course, when using this strategy, there’s still a chance that a girl will flake, but it’s less likely because she’s already made a commitment to follow through on your plans.
After Each Approach
What you do after you approach a girl is just as important as what you do during your approaches. Remember, the less time you spend between interactions, the more social momentum you’ll build. And momentum will make you feel increasingly confident over the course of your game session (for more details on what to do between approaches, read this article: https://championsofmen.com/rsd-tylers-6-steps-for-a-successful-night-picking-up-girls/ )
Conclusion
It’s not an exaggeration to say that having a plan for what to do when you go out to meet women can increase your results tenfold.
It’s so easy to go out, approach a few women, exchange numbers with one, and to then end up frustrated when she doesn’t respond. It can feel like you’re wasting your time approaching women in the first place - it can seem like ‘game doesn’t work’.
It’s true that if you do what most men do when they go out, you won’t get very impressive results. But if you have a blueprint for navigating your game sessions, you won’t get 1 number, you’ll get 5 or 10, and as a result, you’ll get more dates than you could even want to go on.
Remember, the most important principle here is to spend your time efficiently. Don’t expect to have a great day game session if you spend 80% of your time walking around by yourself and only 20% of your time interacting with women.
Strive to spend most of your time in conversations with women, and only a relatively small percentage of your time alone or with your friends.
Similarly, make sure that you don’t spend 30 minutes in a conversation with a girl unless there’s a good reason to. The most strategic approach to day game is to keep your interactions short (5-10 minutes), and to exchange numbers with as many attractive women as possible. Then you can go on dates with the girls you had the best chemistry with.
Game should be done in the spirit of fun, but it should also be done strategically if you want to get consistent results.
If you focus too much on having fun, you risk spending your time ineffectively and missing opportunities. If you focus too much on your goals, you risk being stiff and robotic in your interactions with women.
Strive to find the right balance, and acknowledge when you’re too far on one side of the spectrum. Ultimately, day game is about having fun, but generally, you will have a lot more fun if you’re getting tangible results.
