Hey everyone,

I've been noticing a curious pattern lately and could use some insight. So, I (21M) have been picking up on a lot of signals from girls when I'm out and about – whether it's at the mall, restaurants, or just walking down the street. However, when it comes to college, it's like I'm invisible.

Now, here's where it gets interesting. I happen to come from a more affluent background, and it's pretty noticeable. I'm not trying to brag here, just providing context. Could this be why I'm not getting the same attention from girls in college? Does my socioeconomic status intimidate them?

What's really throwing me for a loop is that I do get positive attention from girls outside of college who are also from similar well-off backgrounds. It's like there's a shift in dynamics depending on the social setting.

Adding another layer to the puzzle, I've noticed that similarly well-off guys in college seem to want to be friends with me and gravitate towards me. It's like there's a different dynamic at play within my college circles compared to outside.

I'm really trying to wrap my head around this, so any insights or perspectives would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
