I'll try to keep this as short as possible, but no promises. Anyway, I asked a girl I really like to prom, she said yes and I thought things were great. I have extreme AA, so just getting to that point took almost every bit of confidence I had left in me. Shortly there after I noticed a very quick change in her attitude towards me. She's an incredibly outgoing person, friendly with pretty much all guys, and so it's impossible to get a good read on if she's interested in me or not as her flirting and normal behavior are very similar. Or at least it was. Lately, whenever I speak to her it's been short blunt answers, and she now refers to me as "buddy" instead of the nickname she used to call me by. I figured my odds were low, closing beyond a date to prom, but it's still a bit disheartening. Now this would all be pretty simple if that was the end of the situation, but there is a flip side to all of this. She had another date to prom, who knew I was planning on asking. When she found out that he knew, she told him she wasn't going with him, and waited for me to ask. And in the past she had been really friendly with me, complimenting me and hugging me and such. So while that all looked positive, the second I acted on any of it she shut down.

By all accounts I think I've been friend zoned, but I wanted to see what Seduction had to say about this situation. I'm not even sure if I can turn it around, but if anyone has had a similar situation it'd be awesome to hear what you did.
