I've read this from a post here: "You can easily talk to people you know well for hours because you know you can trust your opinions with them. You can randomly say whatever topic pops into your mind. But it can be a challenge if you are too concerned with what they think about you."

However my problem is that I don't have random thoughts. I'm great at listening, but I rarly have anything to add to a discussion. Usually its because I know nothing about the topic or don't care about the topic. But then there are times I am interested but still can't converse. In most every conversation I'm utterly silent and listening and trying to think of something to say. It's so fustrating. It happens even with my close friends. Ideas?
