Hey people of Seddit quick question about conversation:
As I read in many seduction books the "model" of a basic pickup goes something like this: open, conversation, investment and then escalate.
I understand about the escalation part and the opener as those concepts are easy to grasp. What I don't quite understand is the concept of conversational balance in the middle two sections. By conversational balance I mean who does most of the talking etc?
As far as I understood in the conversational part the rythm goes something like this: you notice something, be it about her or the situation or just whatever and you say that, then she should respond to it (for example you say that she looks like she's from brazil, she says yes) and after that you relate to whatever she responds (in this case brazil) with a story about yourself how you went there or whatever. The problem I'm not understanding is doesn't this seems like you talk too much about yourself? I thought the idea was that you get the girl to talk as much as posible.
The "solution" i thought about, where I might have mixed things up is the investment stage, which is supposed to be the stage where she is getting more and more attracted to you, as (as a result of the conversation phase) and she thus starts asking you questions and she talks more (as opposed to the conversation state where you are supposed to talk more?), but I'm not quitte sure if I understood it all correctly.
I hope that somebody could clear it up for me.
Kind regards!
