This is something me and a close friend were talking about today and I wanted to get some advice from you guys.
In the brief time that I've been into picking up girls I've noticed that much of my success isn't due to some miraculous performance on my part i.e. knowing the exact right things to say, how to DHV just right, when to neg. In fact, there was very little explicit 'gaming' going in when I succeeded.
What I did notice, however, is that I got girls because I was around girls and in relatively neutral environments. A huge part of my success was situational - I had girls around me, they met me - I met them and I had a chance to make things happen.
A big problem I have is that I'm not often in these sorts of favorable situations - I don't have a lot of girls in my life and my only port of call right now is to go to clubs and that's all well and good, but I feel like that's really putting oneself in the deep end. I think we all deserve credit for the effort we put in to club game because it seems like a bit of a battlefield sometimes.
What I've noticed is that guys that are no more socially apt or better looking than I am have significantly greater success than me due to having these networks of girls and being around girls much more often - it makes sense.
My question to you is how does a guy with very few girl-friends go about creating a bigger network of friends in order to create more organic and low-threat situations. What practical steps have you guys taken to create this, did you join dance classes or that sort of thing? Did you just really hammer down on day game and make the most out of the opportunities that were there already?
Keen to hear what you guys have to say.
