Forget the cold feet. It does nothing.

Say you approach someone. You have, at best before interacting, a 50% chance of them saying yes.

There’s nothing to lose, because if they say “no”, then you experience no change from where you are now: which is without them.

Nothing to lose, everything to gain, cold feet are to be ignored here.

Worst case scenario you walk away alone but know what not to do for that type of person next time. Still a net gain scenario.

Daygame or nightgame?

Most likely daygame. You're getting cold feet because you're expecting it to go a certain way. Take a breath, talk to yourself for a minute, I want you to honestly think about the worst case scenario of you approaching. How bad is it? Would it effect your everyday life? Are you going to die?

Now think about the best case scenario, how do you feel? How does your life look now? How do you feel your world would change?

Now ask yourself, would you be willing to go through the worst case for a chance to live that best case?
