Not being funny but why do you see your kids 6 days a week? Is your ex out riding the C Carousel while you take on 85% of child care?
This is probably a callous comment but I'm a divorced dad and I am managing career, gym, hobbies, dating and I get quality time with my kids.
If you want women it helps to have a good, balanced life.

I love my kids dearly, and mom and step dad absolutely need my help. Mom is disabled, so step dad has to watch the kids during the day and take care of her as much as possible. My older son is special needs and requires a lot of extra support. I have significantly more free time than they do. I am trying to get some sort of balance, but to be entirely honest, our lives kinda fucking suck. It’s like Groundhog Day.

Understood. Something you're gonna have to figure out. If you want to date, you need free evenings. You can resort to OLD but so often that is about timing. Normally if you are free on a Thursday and you make a match on a Tuesday you can try and get a date lined up. But if you wait any longer things tend to go cold. So if I were you I'd try and get every Wednesday or Thursday free, and then get a decent OLD profile and be active on it Mondays/Tuesdays

That makes sense. Was thinking I might have more luck offline, since I think I’ve swiped on everyone active in my area and gotten the 4-5 matches I could get. It’s probably the timing that’s been fucking me over.

OLD is definitely difficult. You need good pictures. Selfies won't cut it. And you need timing. And you need to set up a date pretty fast.
I'm real life your gonna have to approach or build up hobbies, bit to do that your gonna need time.

Yeah, I don’t mind taking some time. I’m not going to go from being completely unable to do this to an expert overnight. Also a good point on the photos. I’ll probably need to hire someone. Do you recommend dating coaches or are they just a scam?

Nothing you can't learn yourself. Try and get a friend to take photos, or even a tripod with your mobile. Women want to see interesting photos. A good profile shot, but also shots of you doing things. You want to portray that you have an interesting life .... Even if you a keeping all the childcare hidden a bit
