Daygame field report
This is a daygame session from last Tuesday afternoon in the city center. This was the fourth session. The first was just asking people for directions, the second was me not talking to anyone because I was in my mind, the third I complimented 7 girls.
What I wanted to achieve with this session is to grab the attention better than the previous session. In the previous session I would sometimes walk towards a girl and give her a compliment, without first getting her attention. So sometimes they didn’t hear the compliment because they had earplugs in or they weren’t paying attention. It also felt a bit like cheating, because I would not really confront the girl and therefore it didn’t really feel like approaching.
So for this session I wanted to really interrupt the girl and compliment her in a way that she would receive it. I won’t go too much into details, but it was a fairly good session.
Of course, as soon as I was in the city center I got fear coming over me. I had more fun with realizing this, because I could really analyse the fear and understand that I can overcome it. Still the first approach needed convincing, but I managed. I got mostly positive reactions: One girl was shy, another was surprised, one girl was super laid back and I regret not taking it further than just the compliment, and two others happily said “Thank you”. There was one girl who was cold and didn’t really reply and once girl turned away before I even had said something.
The thing I can work on is being more spontaneous. I often need about a minute of following her and convincing myself to approach her. This feels like I’m stalking her.
Another thing I can work on is to be less hurried in my interaction and really come to a stand, instead of quickly walking to her side and getting away as soon as I gave the compliment.
The highlight of this session is when I was on the way back home. I saw a girl that I liked walking by herself. Of course I had conflicting thoughts: “I should approach her”, “but I already reached my goal for today”, “but it’s not about the goal, it’s about approaching good looking girls, this is one of them”, “but I’m afraid”. So I walked past her and decided to turn around and approach her. Once at her side I couldn’t do it, and did a right turn, letting her pass me. I went into that street thinking of not approaching her and going home. After 30 seconds of walking I thought, “no”, and decided to turn around and approach her and actually have more of a conversation and not just compliment her. Luckily I could find her. I approached her 2-3 meters from her side. I said: “Excuse me”, she took her earplugs out. I gave her a compliment on her style, she said “Thank you”, and I did a cold read. She asked where I was from, I asked her to guess, she asked me to talk more, and then she guessed correctly, which was astounding. I mentioned I had to go soon and we talked for a bit about what we do in life, etc. I wanted to mention that I liked her nose piercing, but somehow I didn’t. Asked for her number, she agreed. We said goodbye. I couldn’t believe that happened. I was full of emotion and energy, it was amazing.
During the interaction I did notice that my game wasn’t strong, but the girl went along and seemed to enjoy it. My voice sounded nervous, probably I wasn’t talking in a low voice, I had a hard time coming up with things to say, but I did try to keep eye contact, which I think I managed. So yeah, all in all a very good session.
I already mentioned it in a previous post, but a lot of this strategy is based on this video by Todd V: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-njmdWbIaOs
One thing. At some point I wanted to do one more compliment and then get back home, but somehow I couldn’t find a good looking girl walking by herself. I must have been walking around for 30-45 minutes and then I decided to not do the last one and go home. I walked back, saw a girl did a quick approach in which complimented her on her jacket, and so I also got the last compliment in. I wonder what it’s like for you guys, how many approaches do you do in a given time frame? I did 8 approaches in 2 hours.
Cheers
