You're worried about nothing. It's par for course that people swap partners all the time at a salsa event.

It's pretty much expected that you're going to dance a song with someone and circulate in the crowd for a while after the song is over.

In salsa dancing, it's not only perfectly acceptable to dance with several partners, it's expected that you won't be with the same partner the entire night. It's nothing at all like a nightclub where dancing with someone = sexual. You'll be dancing with women who are married, in relationships, or otherwise not interested in fucking with you.

Typically after 1-2 songs together, you either part ways to: ask another partner to dance, go grab a drink, go take a piss, or just take a break.
