These create intrigue and cause the girl to wonder what you're talking about. Thus they'll be more likely to respond.
I've heard guys use 'How adventurous/spontaneous are you on a scale of 1 to 10.' In my experience, these might not necessarily translate well into other language.
Beyond that, you really need to quit speculating about how this all works (since you have no experience to draw from) and read books by guys who are a bit more experienced with women.
