How do you handle being caught daytime sarging and called out for it?
Here's the deal: if you're handling things well, then there will be nothing for you to be called out for.
If you're doing something and it strikes someone is creepy or out of place, then that's an issue that's going to affect your results and it would have affected your results whether or not someone called you out for it.

I know managing your reputation when daygaming isn’t a popular topic to discuss on this sub....
I'm not sure what you're talking about. This comes up a lot. This is a common issue when calibration has not yet been developed enough.

Was out sarging and a janitor called me out for walking around aimlessly.
Here's the thing: if the janitor called you out for wandering around aimlessly then you stood out in a bad way. And if you stood out that way to the janitor, then you would have stood out that way to anybody that you walked up to.
That kind of vibe will come across whether or not the janitor is there to call you out.

I don’t think she knew I was specifically just looking for women to cold approach, but she ran into me a couple times and mumbled in an annoyed sounding voice “haven’t found it yet?”
If that's what she said, then it's not exactly the same as being called out. It means you seemed to be acting suspiciously.
Like imagine if someone was in their house and they saw someone wandering around outside on the sidewalk, back and forth. Of course some people are either going to call the police or go outside and ask if they're lost.
That is not the vibe you want if you're trying to meet strangers.

Probably wouldn’t have been hard for her to put two and two together and see that I’m cold approaching, and security cameras exists that would back up her suspicion, and could potentially lead to reputational risk or getting banned from places.
I think you're overthinking this. Someone wondering back and forth would just seem suspicious whether or not she saw you talking to anyone.
Which would often make people jump to the conclusion that some sort of hamfested scamming or criminal activities going on, even though that's not what you were doing.
The general takeaway here is that your whole vibe is off and you could definitely get banned from places or otherwise encounter trouble if you keep doing things the way you're doing them.

So this begs the question, how do you respond when someone catches you daygaming? Especially when it’s one of your favorite places that you regularly come to?
The people who have daygaming down don't encounter this problem.
You don't daygame by walking back and forth in the same area, for one thing.
You go out and actually do something. Like you have a purpose in the place where you are going. Then you won't seem out of place.
So like you go to a farmers market and actually look for food. And then you talk to people while you're there.
If you go to a place solely to meet women and spend your time either bouncing around to different women or simply walking around aimlessly, then you're going to seem off to anyone you meet.

Thank you for the response, I definitely agree I can be more calibrated in how I go about trying to find women to approach. But that being said, why isn’t this sort of topic brought up more around here for beginners. Daygame sarging, especially as taught by YouTube coaches, is just dudes walking around the same park all day looking for women to approach. If this is such a wrong thing to do, why aren’t we discussing that more?
