Yeah saying to come over to get in the hot tub is pretty suggestive and has potential to backfire so if you want to play it safe, frame it as coming over to chill, mentioning the hot tub as an afterthought and saying you could also do that if she wants to bring a bathing suit

Okay, I like that idea. You think for a second time hanging out, asking her to come over isn’t suggestive though either? I have a habit of kinda trying to get girls to come back to my place to get in there pants. Which sucks, because while yes I want to sleep with them. I also want a relationship as well. Coming over for a 2nd date isn't suggestive as long as you have a good excuse for it. A really good idea would be suggesting to cook dinner together. Not suggestive at all and a fun relationship building activity too. If she says yes to that, then you can mention the hot tub as a secondary activity if that's something you want to do. Or don't mention it at all and let her find out about the hot tub when she comes over so that you have an excuse to hang out at yours again a 3rd time.

I mean sure, if you want to go that route. I think cooking dinner together is the best way to go about it, but your way is fine too. Another option would be to get some takeout and eat it at yours instead if cooking is not an option for some reason. Going out for dinner is fine too, but then you'll still need a reason to bring her back to yours after.
