That’s why its perfect. You ONLY met once. Why would she have any reason to miss you? “I didn’t think you missed me that much” is like “I didn’t even think you thought about me, we barely even talked”. But the first one is framed better, the second frame here says the same thing, but it makes you look weak and insecure about yourself. So pin it on them, they missed you. See?
Frame is actually really easy, frame is connotation. What is the message underlying the message? How to say the same thing, using similar words, but change the tone? By changing connotation

Well it can mean two things : she asks becouse you are absent in school/outdoors. Or she is courious or really cares about you. You need to find out what's her motivation to text you. But don't be creepy. Or romantic about it at first, plz.

you can answer her what you have been up to and why she don't see you.And ask her after why she is asking/like did something happen or someone is looking for you in school?! Smth.along those lines. Act a bit more clueless & chill.
