Don’t approach someone with a specific conversation topic in mind. Of course, it’s good to come up with an opener or something to say after introducing yourself, but keep in mind the goal of the conversation is to make a connection.

Stay away from talking too much about yourself. Be interested in what she has to say and ask open ended questions. I find “tell me about X” to be a great way to progress from introductions and small talk to a real conversation.

Like everything it gets easier with practice!

Girls like talking about themselves so ask her questions and get her talking. Never bring up politics or anything depressing. The less you say and the more she talks the better it will go for you.

I learned how to ask questions so that I never have to bring up topics but I can also lead the conversation wherever I want it to go. As soon as she mentions anything about her, For example lets say she likes a specific color, ask her what about it she likes, why she feels that way, how did this come about, is it her moms favorite color, now shes talking about her emotions and feels comfortable and just go from there idk if that makes sense

Hard to say. I think i speak for a lot of us guys when I say we think so much about "what should I say to her," we never much think about, "well, what do I want to talk about?" And then you run into the question, "Well, what can I talk about?"

I fucking love playing guitar, but unless you're Sherlock Holmes, how would you know that from looking at me? Its always hot to me to talk about passions and hobbies, but how to bring that up naturally?

I think your best bet is to play off the environment and go from there.

"What are you drinking? That looks good."

"The band is great/awful tonight."

"Whats good here?"

Look, most guys have this awesome fantasy of being made out with over the bar, and you may get some replies like "just touch their dicks." Dont... do this. Men aren't half as blind as reddit makes us out to be. At the same time, don't try to be super subtle. Give some good hints that you're into him. Smile, make some body contact, ask him if he wants to dance. (Weirdly some men seem to be proud of their inability to dance) Compliment him. Call him cute, don't be afraid to escalate! Many men are conditioned to be terrified of touching women, in fear of creeping them out and catching a lawsuit. If you wanna make out, and things have been going well, say so!

Personally, im so so used to chasing women, and having to put on what feels like performance art. The hottest thing you can do is show that you're passionate, and into them. Take genuine interest in them, be open and receptive, and be attractive, and I don't really see how you won't be beating them off with a stick.

Tell her "tell me about yourself". If she is shy, you're going to want to do most of the talking yourself until she gets comfortable.
