I suggest taking it in millimeter steps. You’re a late bloomer like I was. Getting Your degree ($$$ stability) can’t be effected by your BAWLLS. You’re 18 minutes old. When you’re 30 buying your first home your boys will still be with mom. I understand how important this is at your age. It’s just that this “life thing” is LONG! If you’re living on campus it’s going to become easier over time anyway. If not, run this race like a turtle. In 5 yrs you’ll be 23 and beginning to enter a state of mind that many other guys started around 16
