I am not that nervous but I always have low expectations from the conversation. I can't see it being rewarding so I don't try as much.

I am terrified of talking to an absolute stranger because i think she will find me ugly and shout creep or something and get me in trouble - i am very, very scared to approach girls but i hope i can force myself to break through eventually !
