You should never spend more than a 3-4 weeks conversing with a girl or allowing her to take up mental space in your head.
Realistically you should only allow a girl two weeks. I say 3-4 because one time I wasn't able to see the girl for 3 weeks due to logistics (I was out of state). Girls get one date trials and a maximum of 3-4 weeks (preferably two weeks) to make that date happen.
