Something like this happened to me once, but when she said she was going to bed I just texted, "Come over. I'll be home in 10 minutes. my address."
She said, "Really?"
I said, "Yeah, we can make a blanket fort."
"Okay, lemme hop in the shower really quick."
We, uh, never got around to the blanket fort. Neighbors texted me the next day, "Sounds like the date went well!"
