Try to make jokes relevant to a conversation you had with the girl or a comment she made previously or something. Comedians always bring it back around and it shows everyone you were listening.

This is solid advice, along with what I was saying. Male humor is more direct think slapstick and female humor is more subdued, subtle, subversive, think sarcasm... Sharp wit dry humor, a joke where the other person can't tell if it's a joke or not. Make fun of her in a playful way, make fun of other people in the bar, make fun of a guy hitting on her.

Good advice! Playful making fun of the other person and teasing is A+ flirting.

I've always naturally been a funny guy, I'm pretty laid back so I don't take things very seriously 90% of the time.
As the other commentor said, if you're going to be funny don't do it in hopes of getting a reaction or anything of that sorts. Just be funny, people can tell when it's "forced" (which in this case would be you trying to get a reaction out of someone)
Even if you're not intending to be that way, maybe that's how it's being percieved?
As far as becoming funnier, I can't really offer much advice there. A little goes a long way, so maybe just dial it back down a notch.
As far as people not getting/being in to your humor, that's on them. Never change for others, if you think somethings funny then it's funny ya know? Everyone's different, so just be mindful (this treads in to social intellegence; don't make off color jokes around things that might make someone upset like people dying yada yada)
Best of luck.

Guys like the boisterous kind of humor girls like shit a bit more subdued and subtle. Look at that new James Bond (Daniel Craig) dude, he makes jokes in the movie but they are chill. With women your jokes are more of a display of intelligence through wit. It's a sexual fitness indicator, you'd do well to think of it as such. Thusly you don't want to dance like a beta monkey to "impress the girls" but just amuse yourself and if they think it's funny good for them if not then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IDGAF (attitude)
