Ideally, I've always seen it as a supplement to actual dating etc. Like, I use Tinder pretty much exclusively when I'm bored and have a few minutes to kill but never as a sole means of "putting myself out there" I think people ditching it are somewhat missing out on oprotunities but on the other hand I think people rely too much on it that it kills their confidence in actual person to person interactions. Plus a lot of people automatically form their own idea of someone by looking at their pictu…

Yeah dude, just chill out on porn/masturbation. We all have needs, but you've got a chick who wants you/to be with you and you're choosing to do ya thang to porn rather then with an actual human. Clearly an issue. Best of luck.

Most people suggest only using texting for logistics, which works but to me is impersonal and playing it safe. I always go by the rule of thumb of letting them set the pace of communication. Generally, if you're not reaching out that often she's going to get curious (which works in your favor) and reach out on her own to see whats up. Naturally, you don't want her to assume there's no interest on your end so try to more or less match her consistency of texting/making conversation. Don't do lame …

Yeah I mean no harm in not trying yeah? It's a good learning experience no matter how it pans out. Really your best move here is to just make conversation and ask questions imo. If things seem mutual, ask for her number and tell her you'd love to grab a drink and continue the conversation another time.

Nothing wrong with it, but I wouldn't just be like "Hey I jerk off to you btw" in a regular conversation haha. And I mean that all comes down to preference, porn might not be her thing. Just suggest it when ya'll are getting down to business and see how it goes.

That's your problem man, you're ashamed of your most primal desires. If anything, you should be trying to get her to watch it with you. Also, I can't believe you told her you've masturbated to her (under the assumption that you guys are just dating and haven't been in anything serious for an extended period of time). That's just weird, man.

I mean, really there's no response needed. There's nothing much more that can be said other then joking about it really. As Drizzy said, both her not hiding it and actually taking the effort to be like "Hey, look at this weirdo hitting me up" is pretty rad for you tbh. If she was showing/telling you in the context of "Oh wow look how lucky you are to have me, I have dudes lining up for me" then I wouldn't respond in any sense at all, because that's just petty af.

To add, there's a huge difference between being pleasant/helpful and "marketing" to get you to come back. Nothing low about offering good customer service, esp if you're salty about it just because you lack social empathy and can't understand the difference between friendly and flirty.
/r/seduction30/08/18 05:29 PM

Honestly, always best to take things at face value. In this case, you're browsing items in a store that this girl works in. It's her job to be friendly, assist you and help you out. Over all, to have you leave with a positive experience. Seems she was asking rather general questions based on what you mentioned. I wouldn't read in to it any more then the surface, but it also doesn't hurt to at least go back and chat with her some more. I work as a manager in retail at a local mom and pop place, s…

Honestly, there's really no "right" or "wrong" way to go about it because people are people. We live, thinking, decide and plan based around emotion rather then logic. Given that, everyone is different so their wants/needs are different. Some girls want you to pursue heavy and others will melt at the sight of a text from you. It's all about pace and learning your potential S/O's communication style. My rule of thumb for awhile now as been to let the girl take the lead in terms of communication o…

You already beat me to it; you're super over thinking this man. At this point you shouldn't even have to second guess. Just send whatever comes to mind. By now you should know what would and wouldn't fly.

Could be any number of reasons, but ideally I would cut back on masturbation/porn. It totally kills your sex drive, and when sex is on the table and you're not excited/enjoying it then it could lead to issues later on down the road if you find yourself in a relationship. As far as other reasons, you could have just been worried or nervous as we all can be. I generally don't have issues, but if it's a girl I have legit feelings for or could see myself dating and it's our first time having sex the…

Like you said, it's a good way to gauge interest but only so much can really come from texting. The best way to gauge interest? In person, and their willingness to set a date up with you if you haven't spent time with them in person. I generally use texting early on for logistics, and always have had good results keeping it as such. Generally, if you get too chatty before setting something up then they will only see you as a friend/texting buddy. I've run in to this a lot and always figured "If …

Honestly, I enjoy that women do most of the talking. I'm a pretty quiet guy, so I like that it's like a 30/70 split when it comes to making conversation. When talking about yourself, make sure to include the other person. Share something about yourself, say a hobby, and then immediately turn the attention back to them asking if they're in to XYZ also or what hobbies they enjoy. Generally, I find once you have broken the ice and found some common grounds (this goes for chatting with anyone new, n…

I mean, honestly if anything you're ahead of most of the others that post on here haha. Generally it's opposite in that everyone is fine behind a phone but absolutely fumble any sort of in person interaction. As far as trying to chat with chicks on SC, just send something random/funny/fun. Generally what I do, or respond to a story of theirs. Really no different then any other online platform, and being primarily focused on picture/sharing can play in to your favor.

Communication is pretty much key in most aspects of life, this one especially. Be honest/direct, it sucks to have to hurt people's feelings but sometimes it's all that can be done. Be understanding of their feelings while putting yours first, as ultimately that's what's most important.

I think the idea of a successful date (to me) is less about the things built around the date (place, activity etc) and more about the quality of time spent with one another. Most people say "Going to the movies is a terrible date idea" and while I agree that it is harder to make conversation, if you and your date both are looking forward to seeing the movie then seeing it with one another (coupled with another activity like grabbing drinks/ before or after) will leave a positive impression. When…

Super good on you for cleaning up/getting sober. Though I have never struggled heavily with drugs/alcohol I've been around those that do/have and it's a tough battle. Now that you're feeling better/sober you should focus more so on building yourself up. As you said, you have a hard time sharing common interests with others because other then drugs/alcohol you didn't do much else with others for years. Take some time to find things you like, try new hobbies you've always been interested in, watch…

I've noticed 9/10 gay dudes are just very direct when hitting on you, which honestly I find is pretty respectable. You find most dudes are too chicken shit to approach women or make their intentions immediately obvious, yet gay dudes will approach me and clearly hit on me.

Hahaha this dude for real. I'm a pretty quite guy, somewhat shy (not as much as I used to be, but I used my more reserved nature to my advantage now) and I've had tons of chicks tell me how hot it is that I'm not spilling my guts to them the moment we hit it off. OP use being shy to your advantage, become comfortable with the uncomfortable but continue to be selective/reserved and you'll have nothing but excellent success imo.

This dude. Even if you're shy etc, if in your mind you see her as a personal fulfillment and not a person then you will get too caught up in trying to do the right then then just trying to do anything. Also, it's just slimy in general to think of women in any sort of way other then being another human person. Best to kill that mindset/ideal while you're young my guy. Otherwise, just be yourself and be respectful of her. Lead any interaction, but don't forget to include her thoughts/feelings/opin…

I mean, trying to dip and dodge around something you literally can't change about yourself is pretty counter productive. Learn to accept who you are, because you can't escape it dude. As for your current situation just tell her. Clearly if she's already met you in person she knows you to some extent. And even if you did get a poorly reaction and she ghosted, think seriously for a second; is this someone you even want in your life in any capacity? While I agree that generally you'll get shuffled …

I mean, it's very situational imo. Generally, depending on where I am/whats going on I'll use that as an ice breaker (in any sort of social situation). Or, alternatively, if I'm meeting a whole group of people for the first time I'll just chill and listen and then jump in the in the conversation when the time presents itself that I have something to offer. Worry less about what to say, and more about just doing it. I've talked to girls about some of the dumbest shit but they soak it up because I…

Chances are, if you're repeatedly running in to this then you're probably moving things along faster then they're comfortable with. My rule of thumb (which thus far has worked out for the most part for me) is to lead but focus first and foremost on comfort/connection. Generally, dude's are already thinking about how to get her undressed before they know a thing about her. While that's not wrong, you can't lead with that mindset or you'll move too fast. I always focus on connection/comfort when g…

Didn't even have to read the actual post (though I did) to already know what the problem is. Way too invested dude. It happens, no worries. I've caught feelings for someone who didn't share the same feelings. Or rather, as strongly as I did. You have to take what she says at face value and not just small things like viewing your Snapchat story. I have chicks that I casually dated, caught feelings for and then we went our seperate ways and a year later they still religiously check my snap story. …

First part is ok, could use work. Axe the second part all together. I used to be worried of coming off as "weird" or "creepy" when reaching out to someone new or someone I hadn't talked to in ages. Turns out, things are only weird if you think they are; if you're stuck in your head analyzing every little detail rather then living in the moment anyone within a 100 foot radius is going to tell you're being weird/lacking confidence. My advice? Stop caring what others think and shoot for the moon du…

Haha yeah, I mean as long as they (and it goes for anyone of any sex who shows interest in me) don't push the boundries I'm generally whatever about it. Yeah I'd give it a hard pass. At the very least, don't even worry about it until you actually get settled in to your job, get to know/meet your co-workers etc. What others experience at their jobs could very well be night and day to what you experience. While I agree general rule of thumb is don't shit where you eat, I suppose being open to the idea of it (while not making it your mission) couldn't harm too much. Don't go seeking, but be open if the chance presents itself. Weigh you options acco…

Honestly dude, as others have said if you have "the looks" the people around you (mainly in this case potential female suitors) will get that you're a bit shy/awkward and take it upon themselves to move things along in the direction you both want them to go. Just recently, I started seeing a girl and while I'm relatively confident etc I became a bit flustered because I genuinely had interest in the girl. Honestly, I have a pretty low sex drive myself. I'm 26, and have had my fair share of partners but ultimately I crave emotional connection/understanding over sex. More so, I used to be in a LTR that while I wasn't having sex like every day I found that I had really poor communication in the moment. I'm in to sex, don't get me wrong, but essentially anyone can find/have sex with someone else with a little effort. To me, it takes much more effort to find someone who will be open/honest with you.

These are the kind of questions people should be asking. If she says no or declines, for whatever reason be it legit or lame (see make up thing), accept that as a no and move on from the situation. While going for what you want is comendable, doing so against the will of someone else that has expressed "no" isn't good. Luckily, you see this behavior as questionable so now you know that it is.

Honestly, while tempting; don't. The only reason she would have her IG on her profile is simply to gain followers. If she was interested, she would have swiped/matched you. Just cut your loses and don't assume she's exactly what you want based off a few words/facts and pictures. I've met dates that seemed like they would be really well matched for me only for me not to be able to stand. Goodluck.

Honestly, this OP. I've had loads of gay dudes hit on me (doesn't bother me, if anything I find it both humorous and flattering). I started paying more attention and noticed I too was also getting lots of seconds looks/eye contact from women. I mean, you do you but I honestly take it as a complement. I honestly think if you're not in to it you're not in to it. I generally will notice I've caught the eye of someone, but if I'm not in the mood/preoccupied with something I've deemed more of a priority I'll just continue on as I was. As other's have said. It's a good chance to practice being social in terms of striking up small talk with a stranger, because every interaction doesn't have to be based with seduction in mind. Being comfortable talking with everyone is just as helpful imo. Either wa…

I've always been a "take things at face value" kinda guy so generally, if she says "Hey you were amazing, but I'm really busy with life/moving" then take her word for it. Obviously going in to it you already knew this, so it's not like she started fading and then pulled it out of her hat. Future reference; if you ever care about possibly rekindling something down the line with someone don't ask them "What did I do wrong". I feel you, and agree. Generally, as long as you're not weird about it girls are going to care more so that you're passionate about things rather then what you're passionate about. I've always been a nerdy/tech type guy and I've dated and gone out with girls who have absolutely no interest in it, but find it super fascinating that I can build computers and shit even if they know/don't care about it. No shame in liking what you like.

First of all, turn all of your focus inward. If you don't feel good in your own skin that shit radiates like a light at midnight. People (not just women) are going to see that shit from miles away. Before you can focus on dating etc you've gotta get your own self in order. I got out of a LTR and tried to jump back in to the dating pool before I was ready, had some personal baggage to sort, and it blew up in my face. Once you've sorted that, instead of texting all of these girls all of the time s…

Honestly, my personal interpretation of game is being confident and displaying your true self. As you've said in your post, based on your values/religion/nationality you don't really party or drink. While those are more social activities and generally the best activities to meet new people, I think that it's respectable that you're not willing to change your values etc just to find/please someone else. I myself don't party much, so I find that my "game" is more geared towards just knowing what I…

Not even trying to be rude, but I guess I don't understand what was unclear in my post. Let her set the pace, send stuff with actual meaning (ie no "Hey whats up's" simply because you want to talk to her), and fill your life with more things so you have more interesting things to talk about. Pretty clear cut.

I've always naturally been a funny guy, I'm pretty laid back so I don't take things very seriously 90% of the time. As the other commentor said, if you're going to be funny don't do it in hopes of getting a reaction or anything of that sorts. Just be funny, people can tell when it's "forced" (which in this case would be you trying to get a reaction out of someone) Even if you're not intending to be that way, maybe that's how it's being percieved? As far as becoming funnier, I can't really offer …

Excellent post, this is exactly the type of information I lurk for :D Self improvement is (to me) the key to life. You can do anything you want and have anything you want if you mold yourself to become the person you need to. People assume that you can just do or say some magical thing and get what you want and are always looking to cut corners. Improving your own life, however, is a ten fold win. You become the person you want to be, you're happier, and that in turn radiates outwards and others…

Honestly, I always let the woman set the pace in a new thing when it comes to texting/communication. Generally my rule of thumb in between setting up the first date and actually going on it is to make some sort of communication but only if you have something of value to bring. Welcome to life; nothing is fair and everything sucks. Usually you find someone when you're not looking. It's cliche but true, because you're not actively out seeking someone. If you keep striking out either change your methods (as in go out more if you use Tinder or vice versa) and just start putting more of your time in to other areas of your life. Just go with the flow and leave your expectations at the door, and all will line up for you.

Shouldn't matter dude. Her is yor problem. You're putting to much investment in one single woman when we literally live in a world filled with them. I'm not saying don't try, but what I'm saying is that you shouldn't have a single track mind. Unless this lady meets all of your standards and you've actually built trust comfort and rapport you shouldn't be focusing on one lady but rather all of your options.

I used to think this too, and probably missed out on some excellent times. Honestly, as lame as it sounds, I've always felt like a pretty decent looking dude (always gotten complements for women, I take care of myself, groom, dress well etc) but I too lacked some confidence. First problem is that you kept making conversation within the app. I always send a fun/witty ice breaker, feel them out for a few messages and then just get their number or snapchat and move things over to there. Even then, I always set up a date in the first interaction be it through Tinder/Text/Snapchat. Thing with Tinder is man, there's like 2 billion other dudes out there also swiping etc. If you've managed to catch her eye enough to actually make conversation then move it to a date asap.

The idea is that you want to build a mentality that you don't care. I used to get annoyed by girls that would ghost/flake all of the time, and now? I don't care man. They did me a solid by flaking before I even had to waste any time for them only to flake after the fact. Learn to appreciate this, because these women did you a favor. No worries! Sorry for the late reply, haven't been on this account in a minute. Yeah, that mindset really helped me shake the constant feeling of people judging me. Sure, they're judging you but no different then when we judge others based on their actions or words. Once you rewire your mind to think this way, it really helps you overcome other challenges in your life because you care less of others opinions and more so of your own desires/goals and wants/needs.

There's a big difference between "spending time doing other things" and actually being busy. If you're living a fun/fulfilling life then you don't have to do other things. You are already busy. With that being said, if you're worried about texting boring stuff then simply stop being a boring person. My best advice is this; Take a long hard honest look at yourself and find the things in your life that you don't like that you can change and make constant progress (which takes time, it's not a one and done deal) and learn to let go of the things you can't change. Learning to let go has lead me to lead a much more fulfilling life. In terms of relationships/dating, rather then getting hel…

Also to add, try keeping busy. You should be the main focus of your own life, not a girl. She want's to be part of your journey, not the focus of it. Keeping busy will help you stop thinking about/checking your phone for a response. Girls have pretty high intuition so they can tell when you're coming off as needy even if you haven't said anything that paints that picture, simply by how available you are. Just my two cents. Best of luck.

Honestly my dude, I always advise just going with the flow. When it comes to texting, I generally let the girl set the pace. That way, you're not texting too much and coming off as needy but simply matching her style/pace.

So, right off the bat I can already tell you that you need to sort yourself before you try to approach others. I used to do this, and until I learnt to love myself and become very comfortable with myself, I would always start out strong and then once I was regularly dating (non-exclusive, generally early stages of dating and feeling one another out) would fuck everything up. Take the time to sort your own wants/needs/hang ups and then worry about dating. As far as that goes, however, I recommend…

Honestly, I always used to be poorly when it came to eye contact. Not even sure why, I just generally look around when talking to/listening to people. Started to make a conscious effort to make/hold eye contact with everyone (not just women) and I feel like that in itself has helped boost my confidence socially tenfold.

For me personally, I'm a pretty introverted guy. I don't like to go out and hit the town all of the time (and honestly much more so prefer smaller/more intimate settings) so I used a lot of my free time to try new hobbies and new things. Once I started filling out a lot of my free time, I spent a lot of time just doing some heavy self reflection on my life and my past relationships and sorted everything out internally. People don't realize how powerful self improvement really is. Over time, I ju…

Same here, I've always produced music and when I got out of a LTR of 8 years I was beside myself. I didn't realize it until after the fact, but I had pretty much dropped all of the other aspects of my life over the years. Took a year or more for me to re-establish myself as an individual and in turn I got back in to music and have made better tracks then ever. Whenever I feel emotional about something (be it anxious/nervous, unsure, happy, sad etc) I used my music production as a way to sort of …

I've semi in the same boat as you pal, I know how it feels. I've been seeing a girl for a month and a half pretty regularly now (and admittedly we have both spend probably too much time together; but the time spent together has been initiated on both ends) This past week she's been nearly radio silent, always used to text me good morning or check in when she had free time to see how my day was going. First of all, you need to kill your needy mindset (though it may be mild compared to others, worrying about what people think of you is being needy) If you want don't want to be perceived as a boring/predictable guy, then stop being a boring/predictable guy. The only way to add value to your life is by actually adding value. Take up some new hobbies, start a project you have been putting off, find anything to take on that adds fulfillment to you life. You can't fake wholeness in your life, or at…

Thing is dude, Tinder is simply a platform. They don't have rules as to who can and can't sign up. While I agree there should be more fine tuned options to help optimize positive results, secluding Transgenders because you happened to be freaked out by matching one is your problem dude. I've matched plenty of Trans by accident, and simply said "Hey, I'm sorry but I didn't realize you're Transgender. Sometimes, depending on the over all vibe I picked up. If what little bit of conversation we had flowed well and then things go silent I'll give it a few days and then reach out again (generally, I set the plans up same day/next day). Sometimes people get busy, life happens. If I get no response or a wishy washy one then I generally just leave it be. If they're interested they know how to reach me.

This right here pal, best bit of advice you could recieve. I too was in a LTR and tried to get back in to dating after only a month or so. Panned out horribly, as any time I did connect with someone my whole internal mental state was so scattered that I would kill anything/everything. I took quite a long time for myself after a few poor attempts of getting back in to dating and it changed my life. Rebuilt (and expanded) my confidence, and self worth. Even if you feel decent short term, rebuildin…

Honestly, I find using the same old canned lines is hit or miss and generally been done a million times before you. If you're looking to kick off a conversation, I generally look back at their profile and read their bio/look at their pics and find something funny to open with. Example; Matched a girl playing ukulele in one of her pictures, so I opened with "Hey ____, I really hope you plan on serenading me with your ukulele" and immediately she responded with something also funny/witty. We hit i…

First and foremost kill this idea of "her". That's like the number one thing that kills confidence, or at least it always used to for me. Putting someone on a pedistal is self inflicting and the other person can see/feel it almost instantly. While you want to make your interest known, don't even worry about "trying to win her interest" but simply be yourself and converse like you would with any other girl (naturally try to invite her out for drinks or something more secluded). Best of luck.

I too am pretty new to dating apps (have only been using them for a year). Come to expect this to happen pretty frequently, and be cool with it. I used to get all "What the heck did I do wrong" but eventually realized that it's going to happen. Dating app's are a very low effort/investment platform, so it's super easy for someone to just peel off and disappear. Admittedly, I've done it as well and while it's not nessicarily right it happens. As far as how to set up a date, generally I open the c…

Exactly this. By trying to exert your dominance on a daily basis you're basically telling your girl and the world "I feel inferior to literally everyone around me" You've got to accept it's going to happen, and that she chose you. That in itself should kill any sort of doubts you have. If you let it continue to worry/bother you, you'll end up driving her in the arms of someone else. Just chill out, maintain a mindset of "I'm the fucking man" and worry less. Overthinking things that aren't even a…

With the girl I'm currently seeing now, in the intital first few dates there was some space in between so to keep momentum going one or the other would text each other just to see whats up/how the others day was. Yeah yeah, I get what you're saying. Usually people immediately suggest going to the gym and just physically powering though. First and foremost kill the negativity; if you want to go to a bar to grab a drink after work/in your down time then whats wrong with that? Nothing, unless you tell yourself "Oh but it makes me look desperate". 99% of the time, the negativity we associate with our lives is self inflicted. I used to always refrain from making advances because I always told myself "If she's not interested she will think I'm some sort of creep" when in reality you only come off as creepy if you think you're being c…

My rule of thumb is always move forward until asked not to, but be respectful/tactful. Women will be clear when they're not comfortable with whatever it is you're doing/saying and make it known pretty quick. On the contrast as a dude, if this happens just be respectful and resume whatever it is that you guys were previously doing. Don't be ashamed of your intentions, even if they don't line up.
/r/seduction20/06/18 08:23 PM

Problem with that is, it just becomes a cycle. You can't just jump from one infatuation to another, it will lead to a self destructive self esteem and drag you through the dirt. I know you said that self improvement doesn't work, but have you put in an honest effort? When looking to improve your life you have to be honest with yourself. Overlooking your flaws only hold you back from making progress.

I mean, it's really all situational. There's nothing I can tell you that's going to honestly help other then what I said. The entire idea of sexual tension is flirting and simply implying sexual things without being flat out forward with it. Again, it's all situational so you have to simply escalate the conversation to something more sexual. I can give one example that I actually recently r…

Changing the external factors in your life (job, finances, fitness etc) are all part of the balancing act, but you have to change/grow internally just as well. You said you care about what others think of you? Did you make all of these changes for the sole purpose of feeling good about yourself, or did you do it as a means of validation from others? Ultimately, what helped me stop caring about what others think/feel about me is learning to just let go. This past year I have spent the entire time…

Ideally, the idea of building sexual tension is to dance around the idea. You want to make mention of it without being direct. It helps create mystery and suspense and in turn build up tension. If you flat out just say "That was hot we should smash" you're going to get absolutely no where.

In those situations, it never works out. I was in a LTR for 8 years, and it should have never lasted that long. My S/O and I did have a strong bond but we ultimately were both on different paths in life. We subconsiously stuck together out of fear of being alone, and once everything was said and done we both moved on from it super quickly. Flash forward a year and a half, and I feel better about life and myself more so then I ever did in that relationship.

I'd never worry about the opinions of others. If you're enjoying your life as is, then keep doing so. You don't have to make it a point to actively settle down and look for a partner unless that's what you desire. It's funny that people who aren't you always seem to think they know what you want. Really helped me rewire my mind to always look for the takeaway/positives of anything otherwise negative in my life and use that as fuel to change and become the person I've always wanted to be. Only girls with their eyes on your wallet and not on your actual self will feel that way. To a woman, if you can cook it taps in to that primal provider feeling. I think the idea is, that by ignoring the rules of society etc (with in reason) that you give off a vibe of not caring. Women are attracted to men that display confidence. Silence is bound to happen, but I can honestly say I hardly ever run in to this. The key is to take interest/ask questions. If there's ever a moment where conversation drops off I simply just ask them a question about themselves. People like to talk about themselves, its just human nature. If you give someone a platform they will perform. Just start asking more interesting questions and you'll be fighting to say your piece vs fighting to break silence.

Over time, I let go of my expectations and things have been tenfold better. Sure, I get hella good feelings when someone rec…

Excellent write up. Losing expectations is really one of the first steps to living the life you want (for me it was, anyways) I always used to come in to situations and if they didn't pan out as I had originally assumed it would throw my whole mood/vibe off. Now, I approach everything with a completely blank slate and find myself doing/enjoying things I would have never experienced before because of letting go of expectations vs assumption.

I generally just ask for their number, but as others have said social media can do some social proofing for you without putting in much effort. For this, I find Snapchat generally works best. I'm usually hiking or producing music in my off time or generally just hanging out and having a good time and post that all to my story. Paints a picture of your life outside of work without you having to really try. I hear ya, I was out of the game for years (in a LTR) so this past year has been weird for …

Honestly, I think going in with "a game plan" is counter intuitive. While it might yield desired results, does it really help you in the long run? Building self confidence is really the way to go. Everyone always says have an "XYZ" for everything, where as if you're a confident person in time you can just navigate whatever pops up (be it good or bad) I'm just trying to sort why everyone thinks you need some "Ultimate play" when at the end of the day yall forget you're interacting with humans (wh…

Maaan, I hate when people don't advocate this. Generally on here it's "Stop being a pussy" and people assume you have to attempt to fuck everything that moves. I got frienszoned by a chick, and then as I got to know her more (as friends) I realized that she wasn't even remotely the type of person that would be on my radar. Ended up panning out, because she's decent to catch up with but not someone I would want to spend any amount of time with haha.

Of course pal. When I mean you're overthinking it, I'm implying that you're thinking too much about the actions you're taking. Rather then doing what feels right/natural you're thinking "Is this too much?" "Is this not enough?" and things of that nature. While it's good to analyze cause and effect of your actions so that you can improve yourself, questioning too much leads you to overthink and create worries in your head that are non existent. Generally, if someone is receptive to your advances …

Yeah I mean unless you're really passionate about working out and going to work chances are while it makes you feel good, it's not fulfilling you know? I work a lot too, and while I feel good because I work hard ultimately it's not something that really fills me up if you get what I'm saying. I like to produce music, that's my real passion, so when I'm working on new stuff or studying new things that's what really makes me feel fulfilled. Take a leap and try that one new thing you've always told…

So without even reading through most of this I can already tell you the problem you're having; You're literally overthinking all of it. Ultimately, the only person that can help you sort this is yourself. In your own mind, run through the night and think about your interactions. What did you do that resulted in positive feedback, what did you do that was neutral or negative. Once you've sorted that, eliminate the things that didn't work over all and stick with those that did. Social intelligence…

Honestly, the fact that you care is the issue. Chances are, something came up or she was busy etc. But being needy and needing this attention from her comes off as weak and dependent. If you're a man of value, and have your own pursuits then at most her rescheduling should be a minor inconvenience. My advice? Based off no context, but simply what you have posted, it sounds like you need to pick up some more hobbies. Or if you have some, focus more on those and less on trying to gain the attentio…

I'm actually going on a date with a chick I matched with on Bumble like a week or two ago (we had purposed plans and set them way back, because of conflicting work schedules) If she's genuinely interested, she will show it. I haven't gone out of my way to text this girl at all. In fact, I don't think I've initiated a conversation once. So a few things to point out; Firstly, there's a reason why it's easier to get a IG handle then it is a phone number. If she is actually interested, she would give you her number no problem. Giving you her IG handle does nothing for you, as it's no different then if you randomly found her online and started following her. Also, as for assuming she's attracted because she views your IG pictures and stories; that's 100% subjective. Some people just play through all of that, or just like pictures w…

This. I never used to worry about how I looked (I've always thought I looked pretty decent) but one thing that helped boost my self confidence was to in my mind tell myself that I looked amazing. That I didn't even compare to anyone. While I don't in turn toss that kind of vibe out in to the world, keeping it tucked away in my mind helps give me a mini confidence boost if I'm feeling particularly low. But yeah, find fulfilling things that make you value yourself.

Seems like she's clearly interested, you've just gotta make a move. Granted, seems like you still have a chance to but you've gotta be pretty swift about it (as in the next time the two of you are out for drinks or something) As far as her offloading her relationship problems on to you, that could be taken in two ways; either she's simply offloading her issues on to you or it's yet another indicator of interested (generally only so when there's other signs) As far as being talkative in person vs…

I too got out of a LTR about a year ago, and immediately changed my mindset and focused inward. Sense then, I've dated some and when it went south rather then get upset/mad I simply internalized, figured out what I did wrong and then immediately worked on bettering myself to avoid that again. Self value/improvement to me is the ultimate tool in li…

I mean, I think most anyone (guy or girl) enjoys being approached even if they're not interested/available. Personally myself I find it flattering but if its someone pursuing me, then if it ends up being easy (as in no challenge on my end) then it immediately gets boring and I lose interest. Have a lot of buddies that are the same way, too.

I mean, I’ll be dead honest I generally frequent this subreddit to lend advice to people getting out of relationships (because I came here after and learned a lot) and honestly “game” in my opinion is just overthinking things. People function based on emotion, not logistics. My idea of game comes from within, because you can learn any sort of method but it doesn’t mean shit if your inner world is filled with chaos and voids. If you’re solid internally then “game” is just your natural state. Meth…

Haha same happened to me about a year ago. Some general tip's; Have a good variety of high quality photo's (Ideally, you're trying to market yourself; showcase yourself dressed well and having fun) I always go for a funny bio myself, something that tells a little bit about myself while also setting the tone that I'm generally a laid back/funny guy right from the start. As for openers, I generally just look back to their profile and ask them about something in their picture or bio; Once I matched…

I mean, I generally engage in a little back and forth banter to kinda set a light/fun tone but yeah. It's a dating app, the sole purpose of it is to set up dates with people. Not a messaging app you know? It's always different, as everyone is different. But yeah, I generally just engage in light conversation and then just flat out say "You seem pretty fun, what's your number?"

Honestly, save the talking for the actual date dude. I know it's cliche to say "Just text for logistics" but ultimately that's the best bet. Generally how I navigate online dating apps (ie Tinder); Match Check back through their profile again, before sending an opener. This is a super over looked thing because mostly people just go "Oh she's hot, I'll message her" While naturally that's important, peep the smaller details in the pictures and/or check her bio and find something from either/or to …

^ This Honestly, two guidelines I've always followed; Don't lay where you shit and don't put your dick in crazy. Clearly, this is the first case. Best not to complicate your work life but that's your call. Simply basing it off the vague context and general common sense.

I think the issue is, people come here asking the wrong kind of questions. They come looking for a specific answer to a specific situation that is next to impossible to honestly help with, as people are all unique and different naturally. In turn, the same old stuff gets regurgitated. I think a lot of people also come seeking advice in lines of "Do XYZ and you'll be on top of the world" when again, it's people you're dealing with not robots. You pretty much nailed it though, with your first sent…

When should I text and arrange the date (asap or wait a few days?) Whenever you feel like it, there's no "right or wrong" time to ask. Simply shoot her a text and arrange plans If the second date happens; how should I change my mindset and approach to maximize my chances? (just go full gas on verbal and physical escalation?) Don't talk to her like a friend, talk to her like someone you're sexually interested in (generally, when someone agrees to a date there's deffinately some sexual attraction)…

Honestly dude, TeBenny is right. Don't just sit around idly waiting for the date. Keep active, stay in touch from time to time but get out there and at least date others. Doesn't have to be serious, can just be a casual outing for drinks/dinner. The thing is dude, you don't have to tell her you're seeing other people. It's always best to assume that whoever your date is, is also talking to/dating other people. Until the pair of you have locked it down, it's free game. As for texting, my advice (…

Well I mean, you made the effort and came up with something fun/witty to response. I'd say it's really down to just the luck of the draw. I mean, it boils down to a 50/50 as in either they will be receptive and go for it or they simply wont be interested. Best of luck!

Yeah, I mean the idea of "being happy yourself first" is pretty vague, but ideally it's up to OP to figure out what changes he needs to make to otherwise be happy/content with his own life rather then seeking for happiness in someone else. My whole idea with that is, if you believe being with someone will magically make life great then what is stopping you from working on that right now on your own rather then sitting around sulking until you find someone to "make life great"
/r/seduction08/05/18 01:53 PM

Aha obviously not, but if you can't be comfortable by yourself you're going to give off desperate vibes no matter how cool and calm you present yourself. If you're comfortable being by yourself, you don't need someone else to be happy and in turn you'll attract more people (friends and lovers) because you're giving off positive vibes rather then repelling people with negativity.

or feeling painfully lonely See, that's the thing my dude. You cast out what you feel. You need to be cool with the idea of being solo, because by feeling negative about not dating anyone is what you cast out when you try to approach women. Sure, you can be fun/friendly but people are intuitive and can sense that "I'm actually down on myself because I don't have a S/O" I'm sure you're a good dude, and you're in college. I honestly did the same thing when I got out of a LTR too. Though clearly you know you're single, you have to switch your mind over to that sort of mindset. I used to go in to "girlfriend mode" with chicks I was seeing (but never anything official or set in stone) because I would instinctively treat them like a girlfriend relatively quickly just because I had wired my mind that way for so long. Just focus on having fun within the interaction, and not so much the results/outcome. That, coupled wi…

I mean, idk man it really all comes down to the person. Just spend responsibly, and account that its generally going to cost more simply because there are two of you. Most dates that I have been on in the past year the other person has always offered to split. Sometimes I cover it, sometimes they cover it. All depends on the person, if someone offers to split then by all means take them up on it and leave the tip or something. To me, it all boils down to what you feel like is too much. Just don'…

Well, you've gotta make that call dude. If you're starting to catch feelings then you have to make it known. I've dealt with it before, and gotten burned in the long run. Sense then, if I want to make things exclusive I just flat out ask "So, where is this going?" Best of luck…

Ouch, same boat my dude. I've honestly just taken a break from dating for the time being. Good luck dude, I know the struggle hahaha.
/r/seduction04/05/18 05:37 PM

You're not exclusive? Your concern instantly loses all validity my dude. She (as well as you) are free to see who you please because you guys haven't set any sort of boundries (as in deciding to exclusively date). My advice, if you're still having fun and can let that bit go continue on. If it's a deal breaker for you, just tell her and she will give you her answer.

I mean, I always see people saying "Spend as little as possible" but realistically I've just always spent what I have felt comfortable spending. I don't cheap out, but I also have enough sense to realize that I shouldn't be taking someone out on a first date at some lavish/expensive place because I know it's not within my budget. Just be responsible and spend as you normally would (obviously it will be a bit more because two people vs one, but you get my point)

The only thing that makes any situation weird is you. The mindset you sustain is the vibe you give off. If you go in, and feel weird and uncomfortable then thats the kind of tone/vibe you give off to everyone around you. Just go, relax and have some drinks and have fun.

Honestly dude, seems like your best course of action for now is just to focus on yourself. You see clear areas in your life that you are lacking in, and that obviously have a negative impact on you. Just focus on those aspects of your life, and honestly you'd be surprised at the women you meet along the way without even having to put in effort. They'll either realize and change their behavior or they'll just find someone else to seek validation from. Aha this exactly. Like, sure the chick is fun and flirty but if she has a dude already I just don't get why dudes toss on the ol rose tinted glasses and think to themselves "I bet if she left him and was with me things would be grand" Sure they'd be fun, until she started chasing the next dude she comes across. If she's got a dude already, at best have fun and flirt but don't get any ideas that she's girlfriend material because clearly she's not.

Personally, I would can the "I want to get to know you" bit because it immediately shows quite a bit of interest. Idk, to me if I'm asking a girl to go out on a date, it goes without saying that I find her interesting enough to want to get to know/spend time with her. Just my observation.

I read a post on here a week or so ago, breaking this very idea down, but sadly I don't remember who posted it. I never understood playing hard to get, because ideally as a self fullfilled person you should already have enough going on in your life that you don't need to pretend to be busy. As the others have suggested, just set the date up. The only way she can really gauge if you've changed is in person.

I wouldn't write her off completely (because we are all human, life happens) but I wouldn't put much stock in to it either. Give it a few days. Ask to make plans again once the dust has settled, if you don't get a solid answer then that in itself is your answer; flaky and not worth your time.

I mean, screening really comes down to the individual person. Everyone's looking for something different. My advice, make a written list (always helps me to write things down so I can actually read them back to myself) of important qualities you are looking for in a women, and ones you aren't. Comb the list, and narrow it down (through compromise) on things you would let slide in the negatives but also things (such as morals/values) that are are important they you wouldn't compromise on giving u…

Exactly dude, it's that very mindset that holds people back in the long run. Once you kill the idea of some "perfect formula" or "the right thing to say" you instantly realize "Hey, I just need to be myself and talk to women whom I'm attracted to just like I would anyone else". My rule of thumb has always been, only reach out when either A making plans or B when you have something to contribute (as in something funny to share, a question etc) If all's you're doing is reaching out with a "Hey, whats up?" it's a conversation that will die fast and kill attraction because it translates to "Hey, I'm bored and I have nothing going on in my life so I'…

I mean, the idea is that you're suppose to be busy/have your own life and any S/O is suppose to be included in that. If you have to ask "What is too much/too little" then it sounds like you don't have enough going on in your life and are trying to fill that with someone else (which never works) This is based of zero context, but from personal experience. If you find yourself overthinking when you should/shouldn't be reaching out then find something to just fill that time. Trust me, women never g…

Good on you for finding the best possible take away my dude. Not to toot my own horn, but I've become friends with some pretty high profile musicians that I literally like dreamed of meeting as a kid and then upon meeting them I instantly realized they're just regular people and treated them as such. Was a semi decent group of us that all played Call of Duty together, and I actually got invited out to California (was one of the only few that did) simply because I see them as friends rather then …

Heck yeah dude, glad to hear it didn't get you down. Obviously, you get a bit hopeful (who wouldn't) but it's key to play it off cool if she say's she's busy. I always used to get put out, now I've had actual girls set plans and then when the time comes for me to get them they never respond. It annoys me, but more out of a "just be upfront/not flaky". I always have plans set up in case of a flake, so I just caulked it up as a victory because both I wasn't left with nothing to do and I learnt to …

Thing is though, and be honest my dude, would you have honestly treated her the same when initially approaching had you know what you know now before hand? And as others have said, sounds kinda like you're putting her on a pedestal now that you've come to realize she's successful and such. Good on you for realizing that women, whatever their profession/social proof, are just ordinary people. I think that's a huge hurdle lots of dudes struggle with when they first start trying to approach higher …

I mean, these posts/advice are generally geared towards people who have for the lack of a better term been socially sheltered their whole lives. Like, I have been out of dating for years so I initially started lurking for dating advice but have sense stuck around for the good self improvement pieces and to kinda weigh in and help new people. I personally still have a ways to go in terms of dating, but I generally don't have a hard time meeting/talking to new people like I used to a year ago so I…

Excellent post! Honestly, this is more or less my sort of "game" if you will. People think you have to employ all sorts of "tactics" or "methods" when in all actuality alls you have to do is just be genuine and a decent person. There's a huge difference between being nice and being "a nice guy"

My buddy had a chick like this clinging on to him. They matched on Tinder (she lives pretty local to us) and then he realized she was like 19 (we are mid 20's) so it wasn't really his thing. She sense has blowed his phone up almost every day (on all forms of social media messaging and text), showed up to and sat near his drive way in her car for like 2 hours waiting for him to get home, showed up to his grandfathers funeral uninvited just "To get to see him and give him a hug" and all of this is…

I think it works well for him because generally women (especially attractive ones) have a steady supply of attention from dudes. Your friend, being reserved, pops up on their radar because he's not immediately trying to win them over. Naturally, this gets the gears turning. That's what I'd assume, anyways.

This 100% ^ When I got back in to dating, I had just gotten out of really LTR (lasted from highschool til mid 20's) so I honestly had like 0 experience dating (esp as an adult which imo is way different) I too used to "play games" and overthink what I should/shouldn't do. And ultimately, it was to fill a void in myself that I choose to ignore and pretend was "me just being down after getting out of a relationship". Just be genuine, and honest. Gotta just go for it pal. And to be fair, there's a good chance she very well could have been busy (at least to the extend where she couldn't respond) or it could have been something you sent that realistically didn't warrant a response you know? My rule of thumb is message when you want to, but don't message if you have nothing meaningful to present (ie don't just be like "Hey, whats up?" simply because you want to talk to her)
/r/seduction21/04/18 02:02 PM

Honestly dude, there's no right/wrong awnser here. I mean, it sounds like you have a lot of free time on your hands so don't try and fill all of that time with her. You've gotta use it to pursue other things. Otherwise, just go with the flow. If you want to talk to her, do it. If ya'll wanna make plans go for it. People aren't robots, you can't just assume there's a right or wrong way to go about things other then using some common sense.
/r/seduction21/04/18 01:59 PM

There's way too many variables to consider. More or less, just go with the flow and don't over think it. As long as she's receptive and still wants to go out/make plans, then just run with it. Trust me, if she's not interested anymore she will make it clear as day.

If your current lifestyle leaves you feelings empty, then fill it with new experiences/activities. Read more, pick up new hobbies. Anything to add to your life. As far as women, they really don't care what you're in to (to an extent) as long as you're passionate about something. I honestly keep very few close friends these days. Never once has that worked against me, because I'm cool with it and don't come off as a loner. I just keep a close knit circle for my own personal reasons. But yeah dude…

Ideally, any situation that involves tension between yourself and someone you're interested in is a positive. That's what sparks attraction. And being discomforted simply translates to "I'm nervous" which again, totally normal thing. You've just got to push through being nervous because ultimately, you're just psyching yourself out. A rule that I have engrained in my mind, and has helped me make leaps is this; no results are worse then negative results (getting turned down) If you don't make a m…

Honestly, the only way to improve at literally anything is to challenge yourself. In this case, if you're approaching women who you don't find attractive there's a very high chance you'll pull good results every time because you're not anxious around them. Generally, thats why women you're not attracted to are attracted to you; you are yourself around them and come off as very confident because you have no reason to be nervous.

Personally, I always open with a message related to either their profile (their bio) or their pictures. Generally sets a fun/relaxed tone. Example: Matched a girl on Tinder who as playing Violin in one of her pictures "Hey _____, hope you plan on serenading me with that violin ;)"

Dude you're hella over thinking this one. Clearly she's interested, life happens and sometimes people have to cancel plans. Honestly, it sounds like you really need to do a good amount of work on your self esteem. I mean, I haven't really been on more then a few dates in this past year post LTR but I feel amazing reguardless. It's all about perspective. I mean, it's going to take awhile. You don't just "get good at game" over night. My advice, just keep approaching and using the results as things to internalize/learn from. That's honestly the best take away from early game development, because a lot of times until you get more comfortable/experienced you'll probably fumble a lot (as we all do). Rather then be left feelings sour, caulk it up as a victory because while you didn't win the battle you surely found some good take aways to win the war…

As she suggests, just "go with the flow". Escalate and recalibrate as needed. Obviously she's comfortable enough with you that she's going to be staying over/sleeping in your bed so I mean you really can't get any better (realistic) signs/IoI then that. Just have a good time, don't focus on the end result (when y'all are out having fun) and set the mood for the evening to come (for once you guys get back to yours)

All in all, sounds like you were doing fine. Probably should have laid back a little off pressing to go back to yours once she said she wasn't sure. Everyone's different man, so there's really no "Do this/do that" and you'll get where you want to be. Well, generally the ages are pretty spot on because you have to connect your Facebook account to it (so it pulls things like your job and/or schools and age from there) but most of the time if the age is off generally in their Bio's they something like "Not actually 24" or "Actually 20" I guess that goes for anything really.

I'm 26 and white as well. Generally my age range is filtered from 21-30 because of alcohol. My advice? Go on the date, and lay the moves/game on her. Best case? She soaks it up Worst case? You get shut down. Either way, you get the answers you're looking for. As for getting out of "the friendzone" there's nothing you can do to change how someone feels about you. Best you can do is internalize, see where you went wrong/could have done better and just take those lessons and be on to the next one. I never have put much in to it, as in I use it but I don't use it as my only means of trying to meet new women. To add as a bit of a note; more so then not women aren't really going to judge what you're in to as long as you're actually in to things and passionate about them (not in a sense where you have like 100 anime body pillows and weird shit, but that you actually have hobbies so you won't be glued to them 24/7 haha)

I'm pretty nerdy myself, and also enjoy many other activities so I feel you. I generally bring it up, but don't really get overly in to detail initially. I watch some anime and play games (as most any other mid 20's) adult but it's more of a past time these days. Just bring up things your interested in, and be authentic. I tried to be someone I wasn't for awhile when I got back in to dating and it instantly backfired, and I felt down on myself for being a fake. And if you get passes/rejected for…

I mean with any relationship ideally you want to still put your focus mostly on yourself; she's just a part of your life you know? If you need some time for yourself, say you're working on something or focusing a little more on yourself at that time, just tell her. Communication is key, and most people are too afraid of what actually communicating your wants/needs might result in.
/r/seduction19/04/18 04:27 PM
1

I guess my idea is don't just instantly write them off, but don't invest either. There are chicks I've been talking to before (who showed signs of interest off and on) that I've just put on the back burner as back ups if my date flakes. I know they're not 100% interested but if I'm in their area, and my plans fold then I know I can always hit them up to go out for drinks or something.
/r/seduction19/04/18 01:01 PM
2

In almost all cases like this, its generally a validation type thing. If she's that interested, she will make it known. Whenever I assume someone is on the fence or might flake, I simply reach out and purpose plans and leave it at that and wait for them to respond. She might take a bit to get back to you, she might never. Who knows? Time will tell. By the sounds, I wouldn't put much stock in to it.

Use these means of communication for very light conversation initially (ie When you first match) I always check their profiles and then break the ice in a playful way in reguards to the content (a location she has taken a picture in, an instrument shes playing, anything listed in her bio) and ask very simple questions. Always try to set the date up as quickly as possible, and get any contact info needed (Phone Number etc) but don't flat out switch over to that and continue to just text. Once in …

I think most people starting to really up their game fall in to the "be someone she likes" trap far too often (myself included initially) Never play up a front, because even if she doesn't immediately see through it (trust me, 95% of the time she will) there's no way humanly possible you can keep it up.
/r/seduction18/04/18 08:15 PM

My friends and I have always had an unspoken system where we alternate on paying (as in, we are out and grab food I'll pay this time and vice versa) It's a system that's always worked for myself/my friends. Women still want those things, but they don't want you to be a push over. Obviously times have changed, and with that everyone has a new found sense of instant gratification. People always want results/things now because technology has conditioned us to expect things in an instant. And you don't need to know things like what to say when, you just need confidence. That's like literally it. There's no "Do X and it will result in Y" because people are very different. Like, all's you literally need …

Couldn't agree more. I forever see people saying "JUST GO OUT TO THE BAR BRO" when in turn some people (honestly, myself included) would be out of their element. My best advice generally is congregate in social settings where you're in your element (ie Join a book club or hang out at bookstores/cafe's if you're in to reading) It's not always about "being alpha" but putting your best self out there, which may not mean getting jacked and hitting bars.

I think that's what a lot of people over look, they work on themselves and become more confident but they forget to work on filtering out people who they actually don't have much in common with. I used to do this a lot, then realized I was having poor results simply because I was talking to the wrong girls. Having common grounds, but varying interests has what's worked well for me (more so, similar values. I like to learn/experience new things so having semi-differing interests to me is actually…

Well, seems like she was pretty upfront and honest so that's probably your best route. It's hard to let someone down, but ultimately it's better to do it now/be direct and honest then it is to keep dragging it along. Sting now, or slow burn later? I'd prefer the first of the two myself.

Going out with friends (say to the bar for drinks) with no intention of trying to pick up women totally will help dude. You go there with low expectations and have a great time, so anyone around you will see this and generally become more interested in you. You do half of the work for yourself without even thinking about it, and then as time goes on and you over all feel better about yourself opening/closing will be easy peasy because youll just be doing as you always do you know?
/r/seduction12/04/18 07:49 PM

Honestly, I wouldn't even waste my time. Think about it; she didn't have the desire/decency to give you the time of day so why should you sit around for multiple days thinking/wondering/worrying? If she reaches out eventually, even then I would tread lightly. Women don't just flip a switch and instantly become interested/attracted again after initial contact. My rule of thumb always is invest as much as they do. That goes for friends, family, people in general.

Best bet, by the sounds, is to take less time trying to approach/date and in turn focus more on your self. Getting over your fears/nerves is a given, but it sounds like you have a rather low self value (no worries, people go through it all of the time) Deff take the time to work on that, you don't even have to have a boat load to offer. As lame as it sounds, I got in to vaping somewhat a few years back and became friends with the dude that owned the shop (he also played in a local rock band and we had a lot in common) and through that and a few years I have built a good network of friends all through that one store. I don't even really vape much anymore, but I still go to the shop just to hang out with everyone. And in turn, those guys can show me around town (they all are located in a city im moving to here in a month) and hel…

One of my favorite quotes to date, one that ultimately changed my life about a year back was by Alan Watts; "You're under no obligation to be the same person you were 5 minutes ago" Really helped me mentally remove myself from stressful situations (work, home, romance....you name it) and re-evaluate why I felt a specific way in that moment and to change my feelings to something more positive. That was honestly a huge turning point, helped snowball my confidence in to something I'm proud of.

It happens my dude, I've had sex with chicks that I had a crush on years prior and it ended up being pretty lack luster haha. Just keep at it, and remember to be safe and have fun. Pretty much any dude will tell you that the first time is generally just all around weird/awkward but it gets better in time.

While keeping an eye out, don't make that your primary objective. If you do, you'll end up coming off as needy etc. Just go with the flow, keep doing what you're doing and before you know it you'll find someone you really click with.

Honestly, I rewired my mindset to this and it helped loads. I too used to get sorta nervous around chicks that I found attractive when talking to them (constantly worry about what I was saying/should say) and then after a fashion now it's just whatever. If you always assume attraction, after awhile it just embeds itself in to your mind and you don't get worried/nervous at all OP.

My advice? Worry less about being a virgin (because honestly, despite how you may/may not feel about it it's really not a big deal) and worry more about getting yourself to a place where you feel confident in social situations. If you're in to various hobbies try to go to public events/places where you can mingle with others. Not with then intention of trying to pick up women, but simply just to socialize/get to know people. I've always been shy, but learned to get over it by simply just minglin…

Yeah that's a you problem my dude. They're suppose to serve as examples of "Hey, upon improving my own self image and working on myself these are the results I had" It's more or less one of those infomercial type testimonials except it's actual real results hahaha. For real though dude, the worst thing you can do is compare yourself to other people. It'll sink you lower then low, and if you really feel lower then someone then turn it in to fuel to become the person you want.

No clue, the only one that could answer that is her. And do you think its worth it if you actually ask and she tells you? Probably not. Forget and move on pal, a pinch now is better then a sting later.

Excellent my dude, it's really empowering when you finally overcome the things holding you back (mainly yourself) and finally taking the plunge. I too have been on a self improvement journey this past year, and have made great strides. Hope your dates pan out well, but just remember if they flake that's on them and you put your best foot forward. Good luck.

I've always percieved social status/money as tools that clearly can help, but ultimately shouldn't be used as your primary means of attracting others. If you have nothing to offer but financial security or being seen as someone fun/social then even if you do land someone they'll dip just as quickly as they appeared. As I've gotten older, I've come to realize that I don't care if we have lots of common interests (some is nice, but not really required) but rather I want you to be passionate about …

My dude Tinder is easy Literally I see all the time people are posting/asking "How to I have better luck with Tinder?" That's the beauty of it, their pictures/profiles give you loads of openers. Then you just chat a few, get their number and seal the deal. That's literally it.
/r/seduction09/04/18 12:37 PM
2

I hear ya there dude, sometimes it's a long process but I'm glad you're actively sorting it out. I'm not 100% sure where my need came from, and it's still something I occasionally have bouts of but generally I've managed to sort it on my own by literally just making myself not care (to an extent; more or less I've learnt to deal with issues head on immediately and then be done with them)
/r/seduction09/04/18 12:32 PM

To add; if you take a liking to someone and you both mutually feel the spark just be up front from the get go and tell her you're more in to the idea of something a little more serious and less casual. My general go to is "I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, but I'm open to seeing where things go" because it sets a pretty balanced tone of "I'm open to something serious, but I'm not pushing for it either" Things are always going to start out pretty casually, but as yall get to know one anot…

Honestly, your best shot is to not be out actively looking for a LTR. Most of the time, it just happens. You and a chick click and date and then before you know it a year has passed. Unfortunately, you can't just skip dating and jump straight in to LTR so you're going to have to get used to the idea of dating. Personally, I'm a pretty monogamous person. I'll chat up multiple women but if I click with someone and we go out on multiple date's I tend to just continue as such. Nothing to do with bei…

Eh idk tbh, I don't there's really a right/wrong way to go about it. I just generally end up snapping them and they snapping me back. Probably best to avoid the "I just wanna see if it's you bit" because as you said, probably would cast out weird vibes. Girls like to be seen, if you get her on snap sending pictures there's a good chance she will send one of herself at some point.
/r/seduction06/04/18 08:05 PM

Well it seems like if you're on here poking around asking about her being busy that you're more invested in it then just casually. Otherwise, you wouldn't care if she's busy. No offense of course, but you're saying one thing and then acting differently. Just gotta be real with yourself.

Honestly dude, I'm not one to spin plates even if I'm single. Like, I'll chat with multiple women sure but once I start to click with one I generally put that extra focus in to them. In a healthy way though, because I know my self worth and I'm confident in that if things dip south I know it's no big deal. I've always been sort of traditional that way (I'm in my mid 20's) and generally I've always had good luck with it. It's all about how you internalize and sort things (feelings in this case) I…

I casually use Tinder, it's not my main source. I just open/strike up a convo based on their bio, and then after a little chat if we are hitting it off right then and there I just ask them flat out for their snapchat or phone number. Worst case they say no, obviously best case they give it to you. If you have no luck with it, bring up that you have something cool to show them (within context of the conversation ofc) and ask for their snap so you can send a picture because you can't on Tinder.

Excellent my dude, good stuff! As you said, and others have mentioned, if she's shy she might take a bit to warm up. Everyone's different but at least you made the attempt rather then getting the chance to go for it and ultimately backing out. Hope all continues to work out my dude.
/r/seduction06/04/18 07:44 PM

Yeah I mean each person is different, but it sounds like you guys both want different things. To me, sounds like she is more in to the idea of something casual if she isn't in to making any sort of formal plans. Again, no clue. Just basing it off context and my own experiences.
/r/seduction06/04/18 07:38 PM

Gotta be in the moment dude. Never think/plan ahead. As you said it was your first outing with this chick. At most, at the end of the date if y'all clicked well simply tell her "I had a great time, lets deffinately make plans to go out on a date again" rather then plan your shits mid date. Kind of a mood killer if you ask me, and generally gives women the idea that you "like the idea of them, and that you don't actually like them" (as in, you're not in because you want to do these things with he…

Well, both little to no context plus it's anyones guess really what her tone is; she sent you a text message. I'd assume if she has withdrawn some, and her over all communication habits have started to change that there's a good chance she's just not interested anymore. Again, hard to say but that's generally what happens. Plus, if she was genuinely busy but wanted to still meet up she would have said "Sorry I can't I'm busy, but I'm free _______"
/r/seduction06/04/18 07:28 PM

People tend to forget this a lot; we're all human. People tend to have high days and low days, just go with the flow. If she's having an off day, don't worry about it my dude. And yeah, most generally people aren't going to go out of their way to to make time for you unless there is at least some interest (you have to figure out if its platonic or romantic; hence escalation)
/r/seduction06/04/18 06:29 PM
2

Also to add, there's a pretty good chance she's interested in you. She's reaching out to make plans regularly, so unless you break that friendship barrier she's only going to percieve your intentions as such. You've gotta be prompt, otherwise that window for barrier breaking closes up and any attempt will be ultimately shut down.
/r/seduction06/04/18 06:21 PM

Always assume attraction. Just respectfully/tactfully escalate (seeing as y'all are working out together regularly that makes for ample amount of chances to physically escalate) and proceed according. If she's in to it/not shutting you down just keep chugging along. If she thwarts any attempt, then withdraw and you'll have your answer. And don't worry about it being awkward, because ultimately the only thing that makes it awkward after the fact is how you proceed if denied. Just play it cool eit…

I used to be the same way, and being in my mid 20's I realized it was time to turn my shit around. It's all about mindset, my dude. Learn to appreciate the little things, and take things lightly/have fun. I was always a fun guy, then as things happened in life and I got a bit older I unknowingly sank in to a negative space. My advice when talking with groups when you're solo is to always just ask/talk about things that are all around engaging. Focus the topics of conversation on something that anyone can answer, and not just more specific things that only really relate to one person. That's about all I've got hah.

Excellent advice dude. I think this is the kind of stuff people need to soak in, rather then the "Do XYZ" stuff because people often forget that we are human. Everyone thinks, acts and feels differently so there is never a "solution" that people often think they're going to pull from here. I always pay for the first date, because A) it gets that out of the way first and foremost so my date can actually enjoy her time with me rather then worry about things that don't even matter and B) if I'm ask…

To me, the difference between confidence and desperation is knowing when to bow out. Approach, ask to grab a drink/food/whatever and if they decline simply carry on with your business. I used to overthink things and worry that people might start judging me for asking people out, then I literally woke up and realized who gives a fuck? If you're not approaching, someone else is. It isn't desperate if you approach and ask, thinking about it and worrying what others might think about it you know?

She's probably being honest. Most of the time, people just try to start seeing people right off the bat or get on apps like Tinder thinking that it's going to make them feel better/solve their issues when in fact they're just too scared to actually deal with them. In my opinion the line between being a reserved stranger and being a creepy loner is in social cues/intellegence. I generally go out with my friends to hang out, but if I'm alone I just try and include myself (respectfully and with tact) in to group conversations. Honestly, just turned 26 and this is pretty reassuring to see. But yeah OP take this time to buckle down and point your focus soley on yourself. That doesn't mean don't go out and try to pick up women but don't focus on it like it's a priority. That's what I have been doing after a good year of just self reflection/improvement and now I'm seeing much higher quality women, getting more matches/seeing more interest and honestly care less about it then I used to. It's a win all around.

I mean, yeah I can see where someone would possibly get upset. Pretty big difference between ah and hard R though. Honestly, if she's going to get bent out of shape that much over something trivial (imo) she's not even worth the hastle. Word, I deff agree with you on that one. I think it all comes down to balance, honestly in my lifetime (im only 26) I've come to learn that pretty much everything universally works in balance. Too much off this or that throws everything off. In this case, positive/honest analytics can't over/under weigh as you'll either over look things that you need to improve or on the flip worry too much about things you can't or don't need to.

I feel you dude, I'm a no games kinda guy myself. I get that it's not fun to have to tell someone "Hey I'm not feeling this anymore etc etc" but it sure beats the awkwardness that ensues when only one person is in the loop and you have to break it to them anyways. Plus all yall ladies send like a super long ass message, it doesn't take a wall of text to say "Hey, you're cool and all but im just not feeling this anymore sorry"

Being honest dude, it's best to just be upfront about it. As in declare it's a date, or as others have said set it up clearly as a date and not a "Hey lets grab a coffee and catch up!" But yeah, never ask because in your mind you think it's "the safe" way to gauge potential interest/display potential interest but it comes off as weak on her end. Just assume she's single, and treat her as such. If she isn't, she will make it known and you can proceed however you please.
/r/seduction04/04/18 01:50 PM

If you're having a hard time keeping conversation going, just ask them about themselves. People love to talk about themselves, and it helps open doors to better topics/conversations. And listen/observe. The easiest way to get better at conversational skills is actually to listen and observe, because it helps you pick up on social cues (for instance, you might say/bring up something the other person is very interested in and their reaction/face/posture will give it away even if they don't)
/r/seduction04/04/18 01:45 PM
2

Solid advice; use this as a decent set of guidelines OP. Honestly, when meeting new people I love to get them talking about themselves. Takes way less pressure off and you can easily match/share with them. Whatever they talk about, you just respond with your own response to the questions and generally when the pair of you stumble upon something you both really dig it just takes of and soars from there.
/r/seduction04/04/18 01:38 PM

My advice, figure your shit out and once you've collected yourself and can approach don't even play up like anything was bothering you. If she asks, just simply say "I had some stuff going on, but I sorted it out" and leave it at that. This isn't a "do this and you're golden" tip, but it might get you out of a pinch if it comes up. Good luck, and just be yourself/chill my dude and all will work out.

Yeah I've found that mostly if yall dont chat like immediately that it's a no go. Also, generally people (both men and women) will just right swipe til they run out and then weed out the matches down to people they decide to chat up. So, don't take it personally if yall instantly unmatch.

For me, just taking a break from dating etc and focusing 100% inward/on myself has helped me elevate my self esteem higher then it has ever been in my life (26yo) I think when you split your time up between yourself and trying to date that you never really get a chance to work on yourself. I know you probably want more success with women (who doesn't?) but alocate that time spent trying to date back in to yourself for awhile and honestly it'll change your life. I used to be needy, and always see…

I see both sides. Seems situational, honestly. If it's semi out of no where then I can see it simply as a validation type thing (I've had this happen) On the flip, I've had chicks I've been talking to for a bit send stuff while the context of the previous messages were flirty in which case I think reinforcing is escilation. I guess it depends on the situation/context.

Honestly, a good perspective for dudes out there that both have no clue what they're doing and guys that think being "alpha" as fuck is the key. Life, and everything within it, is all about balance. Don't be a sissy, but don't think getting absolutely shredded is just going to instantly have girls lining up for you. And even if it does, it's about quality no quantity. I think people see "Hey, actually listen and be there for her" as something insanely beta and pussy to do. As if feelings are som…

I'm pretty bad at approaching/breaking the ice. Though I'm much better then I used to be, I'm still generally shy and take a bit to warm up to new people (anyone, not just women). Once I'm relatively comfortable with someone, it's easy after that. I've gotten better at it though this past year, partly because my job entails me working with the general public so that's been a very low-pressure way to brush up. I think at this point I have a hard time starting conversations with people I don't kno…

Some great lessons to be learnt here; For starters, never assume exclusivity unless it has been established/agreed upon by both people (In this case, you got jealous when he started "chatting up" Girl 1) Easy to say, hard to get over sometimes. It's human nature. My advice; as said unless you both have agreed upon seeing one another exclusively always assume they're seeing/talking to other people. It's a great mindset to adopt imo, because then you don't get overly attached/invested and it keeps…

"Actions speak louder then words" I love that, because it's so cliche but so true. Just plan to go out and do something fun, and show her how you feel through your actions rather then just telling her flat out (esp via text or something that isn't face to face) Generally, in most cases, tiptoeing around the idea of your feelings for one another builds suspense/attraction so the idea is to show one another without flat out saying it (because it sort of kills the mystery/fun of it early on) Best o…

I mean, there's really no way to avoid being the bad guy per say. Be a decent dude about it, but stand firm. If you want to end things, tell her so. If you feel inclined to give her an reason then keep it brief but be nice about it. Naturally, there will be some mixed feelings on her end initially (as there will/has been for you) but time will tell how things pan out post relationship. I was in an 8 year relationship with a girl, and she ended up leaving me. Initially I was upset/pissed but then…

Don't beat yourself up over it hah. I still do this from time to time when texting someone. I'm a pretty to the point guy myself, so if plans have been purposed I like to immediately iron out the basic details (Time, Date, Place etc) so when chicks make loose plans but then leave those kind of details hanging it's hard for me to not bother them about it (not because I'm being needy per say, just because I want to have an actual set time/schedule) I was chatting up a chick this time last year, an…

That's the problem, people need to learn to disassociate "digital attention" as a normal thing. I was born in 92 so I was around as things like Facebook and Snapchat we conceptualized/took off and I honestly hate them for this reason. I enjoy them as a social platform to connect with friends, but in no way would I ever use them as my main means of interaction with others. Yeah I honestly struggled with this at first when I got back in to dating after getting out of an 8 year relationship. I'm 26, so I was pretty young/inexperienced when getting in to that relationship so becoming single in your adult life with no experience is a challenge hah. That coupled with being so used to being in a relationship made it hard for me to shift my mindset from relationship mode to dating mode so I generally would come on way too strong from the start. It's still something I kee…

From my own experience, just because someone texts back doesn't mean they're doing it out of a place of wanting to. Sure, they take the time to get back to you but generally if you're bombarding them with texts it comes from a feeling of obligation rather then desire (as in they feel like they have to respond and don't do it because they genuinely want to)

Rule of thumb when attempting to make plans (or just texting in general) Send one message; be it a conversation opener or your purposed plans. Never send a follow up unless she responds. If she responds, proceed. If she doesn't, take it as a clear as day sign that she's not interested. It takes like 5 seconds to respond to a text message, and most generally people live on their phones (with the exception of her being busy at the time) Reguardless, if she's interested she will give you 5 seconds …

Trying to figure out the confusing part. I mean if you wanted to actually go, I feel like you would have done some of the leg work (checking tickets out etc) Take everything at face value. She gave you the play dates when you asked. You didn't ask anything else reguarding it, so she probably figured you could figure the rest of the details out. Don't over think things, or try to assume any "hidden" meanings or messages. You slacked and didn't check on tickets. No big deal.

I've come to learn to take everything at face value (no pun intended lol) You've taken her out multiple times, and she keeps making plans. You're making out with her. There's a pretty good chance she's interested in you my dude. Some people aren't in to things, that's what makes us different. In this case, she probably isn't in to tongue action. I wouldn't worry. Nice points at the end, and glad that this sub has helped. I generally used to just lurk, but given the advice I have picked up and the over all super boost in my self confidence I try to weigh in when I can with honest advice. My mindset reading through posts/comments (lurked for roughly a year, more recently in these past few months started weighing in) is always take it with a grain of salt and only really soak in what applies to you/your situation. Always see "complete guides to..." which are great and all, but really only work for specific people/things. Otherwise, once you learn to simple take what you need and ignore the rest this sub is a great tool for reference!

To me personally, if you're still thinking about her no matter what else you have going on you're still putting one lady on a pedestal because as you just said, you're favoring one person over other potential women. Naturally, you'll click more with others but if you always set yourself up to compare to one specific option then you're already losing. From personal experience, I used to catch oneitis with every chick that gave me the time of day at first after my LTR ended. I was over my ex, but …

Agreed dude, I don't buy in to the "be alpha as fuck" approach I see on here all of the time. I feel like people think that simply changing your outward self is going to just sort all of your problems, where as more so then not it's change that needs to be made inward for people to learn to accept themselves etc. Obviously it still goes hand in hand with your outward self (grooming, updating your style, working out if you're unfit/overweight) but that alone isn't just an end all cure.

To add, I'm generally shy too. Also introverted, but being introverted really has nothing to do with approaching/talking to people which is always associated with that. Being introverted just means you're more of a inward person (as in you think, reflect and react inward and as such draw your energy from being alone to process rather then extroverted where you draw off people/being social to recharge) And don't give up dude, just take the time to sort what is and isn't working and change your ga…

I'm not really turned off by the idea of dating a single mom if A) she has her own shit together (as in isnt just looking for a baby daddy) and B) if she isn't trying to get me to meet her kid like after date 2 (falls back in to point A) Being that this woman is going through a divorce, again I would tread lightly. Yeah dude, past flings/girls will randomly reach out and flake. Generally just a "I feel bad, so I'll seek validation" type thing. Pretty much same boat as you, was seeing a chick fall into winter 2017, and out of no where I got the "I don't know what I want". I'm trying to figure out what all of these "zones" are, honestly. You're either making the moves on her or you're not. That's really it. And if you get put in some sort of "zone" it's simply you doing it to yourself. Be a man, approach, and if it works continue. If it doesn't, cut your loses and figure out how to do better next time. That's literally it. People always saying "I'm in _____zone, help!" are literally people who lack confidence, so just work on that and you'll be golden.

Yeah dude, literally 99% of the time any dude asks a chick to "come over and watch a movie" it's pretty clear to all parties what's on the agenda. How do you think "Netflix and Chill" was coined? Honestly, imo it's your best time to make a move. Just ask her, see what she says and go from there. The only one that can really help you out in this situation is yourself my dude, just buck up and go for it.

Little to nothing to go on based on your vague post, but most generally if a girl says "I'm not interested" she usually means it. If you want to keep being friends, do so. If you're only interested in her in a non-platonic way, just start distancing yourself and focusing on other things/people.
/r/seduction23/03/18 06:09 PM

My take on that is rather then lowering your standards (because as said, we all deserve the best) consider compromising. Think about the things that are a must; values, morals etc and then think and consider things that you would let slide if they met the real important aspects. Might help you open up your potential for more serious relationships while still maintaining the core things you're looking for in a relationship.

Which app's are you using? I find that Tinder is more so for casual dating, and then apps like OkCupid and Bumble are more saturated with girls looking for something a little more serious/long term. My whole take on this, through various articles/posts and just my own experience, is that generally dudes are quick to toss out the "You're attractive/you're pretty/you're good looking" shit super quick thinking that it'll win a girl over or get her to like him more. This. You just have to have an "I don't care" mindset at all times. As dmvjr said; all girls are different. Some might like things others don't. When people suggest "Be Yourself" they mean it. Do/say what you want, and if girls like it grand. If not, then don't worry because they're not even worth your time (because even if you somehow snag them, y'all aren't going to click and work out in the long run)

Chances are, if you have been good friends for years it's not happening. In turn, seek other women. Clearly if you haven't been dating in years then this just is coming from a place of desperation (you're close/comfortable with her, so you feel little to no risk in trying to push your luck) If you value her friendship, then clearly continue it. If you don't, and just want something more then distance yourself for both of your sake.

Yeah see the difference is most dudes posting on here have zero self confidence/experience. If you have a low self esteem, you can learn anything/everything out there on how to talk to women but that won't change the fact you still fall short from even approaching. Basically my dude you have two options; If you genuinely care about her enough to make things exclusive/long term you respect her wish and be understanding and in time things will work out (if she actively processes the things she has going on) -or- You simply sit down, talk to her and tell her your sex drive is incompatible with hers and that you care etc etc and ya'll part ways.

If ya'll are just making small talk then ofc you will have to dive deeper in to conversation but otherwise if you're setting up plans don't type out a long story but simply just say "Hey, meet at ______ tonight at 9pm?" What you texted was fine, honestly, because you set up plans and she responded. Done deal. Just keep simple things simple.

Not sure if you have been or not, but the ultimate goal (in my opinion) isn't to just walk up and land a chick but rather use it as a study guide. Figure out patterns of things that are and aren't working and adjust accordingly. As you approach more, with this all in mind, you'll start to care less about the losses and keep your eye on the prize. I know it's easier said then done, and kudo's on you for cold approaching because it's something I generally don't do (it's just not me, no point in tr…

Yeah dude, you're young. I'll level with you, I know how it feels but take it from a guy who in the past has gotten hung up on women he couldn't have; it's a waste of time. Focus on your schooling, and get ready for college. You think you like this chick now? Wait til you're surrounded by them on a daily basis.

Yeah dude, you absolutely killed any chance when you started drunk texting her. Let alone all of the other shit. Best bet? Don't be a dummy and just dip on her. If you genuinely liked her, you'd just leave her alone.

Hah trying being 26 and just finally coming around. Real talk dude, before you even try building out a social circle or dating or anything focus inward. I was in a LTR for years, pretty much the most important years of my life (mid highschool up until just this past year) and yeah I've always had friends but I have 0 dating experience outside of my relationship. Try figuring out dating when the last time you were single Tinder didn't even exist. You'll find your way, we all do. Just take the tim…

I really need to beef up my profile, mainly my pictures. I've done a lot of reading in to Tinder (just started lightly using it within the past 6 months) and my best take away is you want quality photos that not only show you in your best light but paint a picture of who you are and what you like to do. You don't have to be some George Clooney looking dude, but have pictures that really show how interesting/fun you are. If you like hiking, have a friend get a good pic of you hiking etc. It's all…

Also worth noting; you can't make anyone like you. Just gotta be yourself and if they click with you then they do, and if they don't then there's nothing you can do. Trying to change yourself to be someone you think they'll be attracted to is weak and self degrading in my opinion. Be yourself and if she's in to you she will make it known.

Tbh my dude, I hate to be that guy but if you've already laid your cards out (as in you've clearly showed you're really in to her) and she hasn't resiprocated best to just cool your jets. When getting back in to the dating scene after being out of the game for literally years (LTR) I did this same thing. Eventually the chick soft turned me down and I processed it and moved on. Flash forward 8 or so months, now she's hitting me up almost daily and randomly matched me on a dating app (I generally …

Lmao yeah, he's the same exact way. Then proceeds to tell me how all of these girls have just wined and dined and then dipped. Like, once ok I get that you get overboard and learn from it. 8 times? No hope. I generally will pay for dates and stuff (simple take out or if we dine in somewhere not hella fancy) even on first dates. That's just how I am and I see no harm in it, esp considering I'm the one asking someone out to go do stuff. But yeah, anyone that thinks they can just flood someone with…

Honestly, I didn't either until the other day. I was sitting there thinking "Why would you get on Tinder just looking for friends but be posting your bikini pics etc" and it kind of clicked. As I checked out various profiles I noticed it seems to be a pattern. Shrug. Who knows.

Let's be honest, if a chick puts "I'm just looking for friends" in her bio she is simply looking to smash with no strings attached. Saying that sounds sleazy, but saying "Just looking for friends" gets the point across without saying "Emotionally unavailable; but still dtf" haha
/r/seduction20/03/18 05:53 PM

My advice; make your intentions clear without flat out saying "Hey I like you etc etc" The idea of both having similar non-platonic feelings is fun and exciting, but you instantly kill those vibes by bringing it up. If you're going out on essentially a blind date (ie dating app match) generally I clear up what I'm looking for (as in casual or something more) right from the start. Again, don't just flat out say it because it kills the vibe.

Haha man I wish my buddy could see this. He's a good dude but he instantly lavishes chicks when he starts dating them. Just this weekend he took a girl to Boston (we live in Maine) for the weekend who he had just started dating. They split yesterday. Unexpected twist right?

Yeah asking about past relationships is a hard no. I generally only discuss it (and very lightly) if brought up. Then I drop it. As other's have commented, you have to have a mindset where you assume everyone you talk to is attracted to you. In time, you learn to not care and let it just roll off the shoulders if they in fact arn't. I used to be the same way, when I first got back in to the dating game post LTR I would get excited at the thought of someone being interested in me. Then after a st…

While you're not over texting (which is a common mistake a lot of people make) still to me it seems like you're thinking about it too much. I you live a busy life style, you don't even have to worry about it. If you read a message, but are busy, then you'll get back to her when you can and she will understand. No woman ever wants to be first priority in your life. However, if you're purposely delaying responses to not come off as "needy" or what have you then you've gotta pick up some extra stuf…

I hear ya pal, it's easy to get caught up in feelings. Despite what anyone on here will say, we all catch feelings from time to time. And Snapchat man, what a thing. Few chicks I caught feelings for who eventually parted ways still religiously check my social media. Honestly, I always used to read in to it and now I don't even think twice about it anymore. My take always has been, if you have to question where you stand then chances are you're already steadily on the decline. Hopefully it pans out, or next time you just buck up and push your luck. The way I see it, if you make a move and she's not interested worst case you temporarily swallow your pride and move on. Otherwise, you slowly start to worry/wonder and over analyze and basically seal your own fate.

Honestly dude, I wouldn't even worry about how it's going to play out. If you're looking to just hook up again before you dip, then sure I guess but if you're moving out of state it's honestly a waste of time. I was in a similar situation, decided to put it on the back burner. While I didn't invest much, the idea of "well maybe if I just leave this be" eventually got the best of me and resulted in feeling bummed for longer then I should have. Hopefully it plays out well, good luck pal.

Yeah I feel you on the making time bit. Was talking a lot with a girl who was honestly busy a lot (at the time she was finishing up her degree) but even then she still made time to even just grab lunch or hang for a bit. I'd just meet here where ever she was studying (usually Starbucks) and just hang out for a little bit and then be on my way. People always make time, no matter what.
/r/seduction15/03/18 05:42 PM

Yeah my general rule of thumb has always been invest equal amounts of effort. It's hard to guage initially, and I generally give them a pass the first time they flake (I've had stuff come up last minute; it happens to everyone) If it becomes a second/third time where ya'll are chatty but no plans come to be then just put her on the back burner and focus your now extra energy in to other things.
/r/seduction15/03/18 05:40 PM

Agreed. I myself generally hate social media because it's so superficial. I've been on a few Tinder dates where the chick has this really well built out bio and then they turn out to just be the most boring person ever. I live in a small rural area, so I generally don't even try to score Tinder dates (because I have to travel a considerable amount to meet up with them) so I just use it as something to kill time and put little to no stock in to it.

Even recently (just getting back in to the dating game after a LTR) I've caught lust oneitis. Don't honestly miss much of the "connection" we had but just that they were attractive. I've managed to let it go pretty easily/quickly; I figure if you attracted someone who in your eyes is very physically attractive that you can do it again no problem (well, you get my point)
/r/seduction15/03/18 05:28 PM

Same here, I've generally just over looked the more subtle stuff but lately I have paid more attention and noticed a lot of times when talking to a girl (waitress/cashier etc) that they tend to smile, blush and then look away/break eye contact. Noticing that one small detail alone has now made me feel like a million bucks haha.

Right? I think a lot of people honestly forget that it's all suppose to be fun. As I have improved myself and rebuilt my self esteem again over this past year I honestly find just simply being friendly and flirty with no end goal is both great practice and just all around a good time. I hate when you mention it and people instantly are like "Why didn't you try for anything, why didnt you get her number etc" It's like damn dude, I'm just trying to enjoy my food and my view haha.

I mean realistically, and I don't mean to sound rude, but this sounds like a you problem. You're right, we meet new women every day. Without a doubt I agree with you on the whole "social value" aspect of things. I think it's pretty shit, honestly, but unfortunately that's the game we have to play as people. I really hate Social Media, outside of the occasional funny post and keeping in touch with my actual friends. I mean, you're not obligated to really tell anyone on here what exactly you have for a social disability. I, as with any mature person on here, respect that. Well dang, I guess having a rather reserved nature has paid off after all haha. I always like to get to know people before I move forward with them, just always been that way. Sex is fun and great, but I generally only give people the time of day that I deem worthwhile (as in avoiding chicks looking for stand in dads, crazy chicks, etc etc) Though naturally that means less hook ups, the long term plays out better because I have yet to have any sort of issues.

My rule of thumb has always been to feel the other person out (figuratively) on the first date to see if we click and to over all make a good first impression. I mean shit, I'm not the type to employ "pick up" tactics either but you have to understand how it works you know? Just to clarify, there's a difference between being interoverted and being reclusive. I've always been introverted for as long as I can remember, but I also have plenty of friends and go out the same as anyone else. Yeah, I've just over time learnt to be indifferent. I figure, if I accept the offer to make plans, and make them and they ghost then A) I can't regret not trying and B) They're not worth my time anyways.

Very fair points friend. If we are all being honest with ourselves in this sub, I do tend to be rather critical of potential partners. I always find myself weighing out things before I even test the waters, and while this has helped me avoid some lackluster partners it's also probably held me back from some good ones too. I'm working on being less critical, so this was a nice little reminder. Thanks.

Oh yeah no I agree 100% on that, girls won't "come flocking" but I also feel like it's not meant to be literal (yet unfortunately a lot of people on here don't actually stop and think about what they're reading) I guess the idea is that having improved upon your faults, you will learn to accept and fix what you can and women will take more interest in you when you interact with them. Most people miss that point, and assume that every girl that seems them will all of a sudden be beyond infatuated…

I'm pretty introverted myself, so I know where you are coming from. The idea of introversion is that you simply draw your "energy" from quite/intimate time rather then drawing energy from social settings. Just be yourself man, I feel like 90% of the time (even my past self included) we as people overthink things way too much. I learned that I don't need to worry about how I present myself socially, if people like me they do and if they don't they don't you know?

To be fair, im a pretty level headed guy and I simply don't enjoy flings/casual stuff. I've been in various relationships where they wern't serious, and eventually I didn't see the point in it. I felt that time could be used for more important things. Though, if someone was interested in something serious I would be more open to dedicating time to that. Idk, different strokes for different folks.

This just happened to me literally a week or so ago, was seeing a chick for awhile. Mutually parted ways, and then out of the blue she hmu again saying she missed me and had been thinking about me a lot. Made it clear I wanted to make plans with her and that I was purely only interested romantically. She agreed and we made plans, never heard from her again. Just purpose plans, set a time place etc and leave it be. If she is sincere she will reach out when the plans draw close to confirm, and if …

I was seeing a chick for a few months, and though she wasn't really in to games that much she was interested in it (I'm pretty competitive too, so sometimes I post some edits I've thrown together or great plays in a game on my Facebook for some of my friends to see and she happened to see it and message me about it; the message was positive)

You don't have to hide it, just don't disclose it until it comes up (if it comes up) I mean yeah, having a bunch of half naked anime girls saved to your PC is probably a bit much (and might weird out any chicks) The idea is, you have your own hobbies. I doubt that when things come to be if a girl is really digging you and enjoys talking to you/spending time with you that she's going to instantly not like you because you watch anime hah.
/r/seduction01/03/18 09:34 PM

Not sure if you get the point of "focusing on yourself" The idea is to improve your physical/mental health. You can't feel good about someone else, even if its just a casual dating thing, if you don't feel good about yourself. Some people have baggage, and the idea is to focus on yourself to absolve yourself of these issues so you can regain your confidence (or find it in the first place) and not to "focus on yourself and wait around for someone to approach you" It's self improvement.
/r/seduction01/03/18 09:23 PM

Though it wont specifically help with any one of those issues directly, I highly recommend The Six Pillars of Self Esteem by Nathaniel Branden. After a LTR then ended that I had spent the better part of my late teen's/early twenties in I was beside myself on how to pick up and carry on. This book helped guide me back on the path of self acceptance and as a result a year later I feel better about myself/my outlook more so then I ever have befor.

Along with the reading, I also watch a lot of interviews with music artists I really like. Again, it's not a life changing tip but by doing so if you're chatting with a girl and she mentions she likes a song that comes on you can drop a little knowledge about the artist to engage in more conversation. Just my two cents.

Tbh it's not like you have to tell every girl you lay moves on right up front that you're in to anime. I myself am a pretty casual consumer as well, I tend to watch it when I have caught up on my other shows/movies I want to see but I also don't feel the need to tell every chick im talking to that (unless she herself has mentioned it or hinted at it) Ultimately, you see the things in your life that you find to be set backs so take the time to assess and see what you really want to change and slo…

Tbh pal, I know the feeling. I was in an 8yr LTR and my lady dumped me. I was crushed. After a handful of months, though, I got over it and realized it was the best learning experience of my entire life. I suggest you take a bit longer to weigh it out, continue to work on yourself and then think more on it. It's easy to go for it and then fall back in to old habits.

I mean, there's really no rules that says "if we make out then I'm interested in something with you" Personally, I'm a bit reserved so I generally don't just make out with random people (nothing wrong with it ofc) Idk, if I'm not interested in someone I just don't show any IOI's. I've had girls hit on me that I wasn't interested in, and just kinda of laughed it off and carried on. It's the same as girls you know? Nice example OP. I'm over here rolling at all the dudes getting super pussy about you not fucking her. If you want to go out of your way to still be friends and hang out go for it. If not just tell her while you're cool with being friends its pretty out of the way to hang out often. Maybe catch up if you guys are both going to be in the same area? As far as telling her that you don't want to just be friends, I mean don't be a dick but make it pretty clear as well. I can tell you being from a small town absolutely sucks. Makes dating next to impossible, esp with apps like Tinder when anyone remotely worth giving some of your free time ends up living like an hour away (or in Canada in my case; Maine)

Honestly, if you get lucky and find someone worth spending the rest of your life early on then that's awesome. Chances of it actually panning out long run? Slim. I dated a girl from mid High School onward for 8 years (split up a year ago; just turned 26) and coming out of that I was more or less fucked for the time being. Mid 20's, and lack there of dating skills because I missed out on a lot of dating early on in my life (years I would consider vital to discovering what you want/need out of a r…

My advice for almost 99% of all interactions between anyone (be it a friend, a family member, or anyone) Take things at face value, and nothing more. She hit you up, that's all there is to it. Her intentions are for you to discover, if you choose to. If not, ignore.

I think the real question is, why does it matter to you so much (enough for you to make a post online seeking oppinions) You understand that if after a few attempts you get met with delays with vague counter offers that it's best to just move on to the next one. The why in the end shouldn't matter. People are strange, or may have personal things going on, or might not want to feel bad in letting you down if they're not in to you. Could be a million and two different reasons, but ultimately you s…

Also, being forward about your intentions would more or less be you setting the stage for what you're looking for. Simply saying "Hey I'm not looking to date you or be in any sort of relationship" absolutely kills the vibe and turns chicks off. Even if yall want the same thing at the end of the day, as soon as you flat out say "Hey i just wanna hook up" it kills the vibe/attraction.

So, in my own experience this is generally what I do. Send a fun/casual opener (something funny) or open with a question about them (generally best to actually read their bio and pick something from there if there is anything) Generally chat back and forth for a few messages, get her number, and then switch to texting (or snapchat or whatever) Then just set up logistics (date/time/place) for meeting up. If you're not looking for anything serious, as you have done just be upfront about it early o…

Conversation's are all about ebb and flow. Listen and share. Naturally when meeting someone new, you're going to share what you're most interested in as that's how people come to find common ground. Also, generally I find when meeting new people it's best to just listen and absorb. You learn about both them, and their interests. And worth noting, it's one thing if your friends are just messing around and its an occasional thing. My friends and I get on one another all the time about stuff and give one another a hard time in fun, but we all know that we are and its kosher. If they're just being dickheads 24/7 that's them being dicks. I mean, honestly if these guys are dickheads then why are you still friends with them? Part of building yourself up as a person is cutting out the toxicity that is around you; be it drama, shitty relationships, shitty job, people etc. That even includes "your boys" I personally just asses my friendships if I feel my personal needs (in this case having buddies who hype you up, instill positive feedback) arn't being met, while also keeping those needs in check if they're realistic or not. These kinds of questions pop up all the time, and honestly dude there is no "awnser" for this. The only person who knows this girl is you, OP. Be fun/casual in conversation, and if you don't want to be friends and only have romantic intensions my advice is just to make it clear. Yeah I mean, after the first time with the concert ok. Fair enough. It sucks, rejection of any sort is never fun. But, don't take it personally dude. Chances are she liked you but "just wasn't that in to you" (cliche I know)

We ended up going out, and really hit it off. After a few dates, I figured it was worth sticking with because I already had plans to move to the area this coming spring for a better job offer, so why not already get established in the area before hand? While I agree with your point, I also have to say that simply trimming the fat to get down to it also shows value. Yeah, it shows that you're invested but believe it or not people have feelings (being "alpha" simply implies to me keeping your shit in check and not letting anyone bring your vibe down). Sometimes for your own personal clarity it's just best to ask. That's what I did with a girl I was casually seeing, and she said that she would rather just be friends. Cut my losses, realized we di…

I think the idea that OP is trying to get across is that you need to network/socialize effectively on all fronts. Being that most of the user base for TRP are young adults, dealing with nightlife as an example gets the points across in a more relateable way. I would assume that any level headed person reading OP's post would generally assume that these sort of mannerisms would care over in to most social aspects of life (work/social/romantic etc). I mean to be perfectly honest you sort of already pointed this one out to yourself. Work on yourself; but more importantly stop giving a fuck. My rule of thumb always has been take everything at face value. Obviously her making physical contact is an IOI, so assume so. Be casually flirty and just take what she says/her reaction at face value. When you start thinking and stop acting is when you end up in the downward spiral of lack of self confidence.

Yeah, I hear you there. Consider this, though; despite not having the best (or sometimes really any) advice they were still there for you and listened. When I was going through my tough bout, my closest friend luckily had some sound advice to offer (though it was the general "You'll pull through it" sort) the idea that he openly listened to what I had to say in itself was the reward you know? Just went through a similar situation, and though it sucks ultimately it's a killer learning experience. Went on a date with a Tinder match after two months of blowing her off (because I at the time had other more important things to do) Finally said fuck it, we went out and it was grand. Kept the same mind set, struck up convo through out the week but ultimately let her do all of the initiating. Personally, given that you have DM'd her a few times I would just carry on and hold off contacting her again. Then, after some time has passed just hit her up IRL. You said she goes to your school, so just approach her and strike up a conversation. I know, easier said then done. But, as said, let it cool off a little before approaching her. Not to sound like a broken record, but I think you're approaching this from the wrong angle all together. Everyone is suggesting that you improve yourself, and that's beyond true but you have to do it for you. You have to stand out on your own, and grab life by the balls. Trying to improve yourself with the simple end game of "picking up girls" only keeps you locked in this cycle of self destructive behavior. Yeah I mean in most cases (new or old aquaintances) it's best to just be out with it from the get go. Getting out of a LTR (of 8 years) in my mid 20's I had absolutely no clue how to get back in to dating. At first I would beat around the bush and lowkey catch feelings in the mean time and end up fumbling it and feeling shitty afterwards. If you're just direct, it trims all of the fat and makes it clear/you can get away from it easily without catching feelings other then initial attraction.

I'm kind of the same way, I like to get a feel for the person before actually committing to a date (because I value my free time, and want to maximize it) but ultimately if you're on Tinder and y'all match it's best to run a little game (few messages back and forth to build rapport) then immediately get her number to set up a date. Learning about her interests, goals, desires, likes/dislikes should be reserved for the date. Otherwise, what are y'all gunna talk about if you both have gotten to kn…

Being fairly honest, I think we all have done it at some point or another. You catch feelings and it happens. If it's a regular thing, however, that seems to happen more so then not (esp after just a few days of talking) then is best to withdraw/take some time away from dating and do some self reflection. I was in a LTR for 8 years (from 17-25) and after that it took me awhile to even get my bearings together. Then when I was back on my feet and in to dating again, I fumbled the first few times …
