So I talked with a girl from class today, and I casually mentioned that I was going to the chess club later (it's at the school).

She then said: "Oh, well my dad is actually driving me home 1 hour after school is done. So it could be fun to play it as well".

Me: "Yeah sure, that sounds good".

Then, when we were done, she wasn't feeling it, and she told me she had a lot of home work to do. And then she saw the people from the club, and they were all boys, so she backed away.

So did I just get rejected there? I actually kind of like this girl, so I would like to take her out on a date. But I'm wondering whether I just got rejected there.
