Hey guys, I don't really know how to say this without being straightforward so here I go (please don't take this as a brag post or anything of the sort):

I'm basically a pretty good looking guy. I would say at the very worst I'm a 7 out of 10 to every girl I meet. Anyways I've noticed that since trying to use some of the tips you guys present it doesn't necessarily work all that well. If I play aloof they assume I'm uninterested, if I playfully brag I'm cocky, if I try hard I'm trying too hard. I could just be doing it wrong but the whole cocky funny, or even just being obviously confident thing just doesn't work for me. It's to the point where the only way I can get a girl is with the really nice and talkative role.

Sometimes I get so confused by seeing what works for other guys and then being unable to replicate their success. My talkative role game is alright but there is no doubt it can be improved. It's becoming more and more apparent that being attractive isn't nearly enough to get girls.

Any suggestions? Specifically how do you display confidence without being cocky; I find the best way to get girls is to be overtly humble but then when is humble too humble, how do you know if you're talking too much, how do you know if a girl is flirting with you or just being polite?

As you can see, I'm confused
