I’m on holiday in Turkey at the moment. I’ve noticed one of the waitresses giving me the eye, this increased substantially and she started smiling every time she came to my table. I then looked at her as she walked past and she dropped something because of looking back at me.

I was a bit slow, but then we started exchanging conversations and it made her laugh lots. She has extremely limited English but I think she got the gist.

The next day after that conversation, she changed her hair completely and put a skirt on. I messaged my friend who’s got very good game, he said don’t delay making a move, so I did. I decided to get away from family armed with Google translate to try get her details, and it worked, she was very keen, and didn’t seem awkward till her colleagues came over and she ran a square mile till they left. They told me she was crazy girl and I should take her to the beach, it’s as if they knew… 😂. But her female colleague was a bit more chilled.

I saw her at dinner, and she was very distant. She even went back to shorts which made me laugh, but she did smile at me once or twice.

I saw her at breakfast and again very distant with me, but she did smile at me and I kept watching her looking over at me. Her female colleague has also been attentive with me, but sends the other girl to serve me which is hilarious 😆 I just get that feeling she knows. As I was walking away, she started clearing a table but stopped and I caught her looking at me.

So I thought I’ll message her, she replied, but I didn’t see it for 1hr and as soon as I replied, she replied within seconds. She’s left me on read for the last few messages but I’ll probably see her in the morning.

Few questions… (1) I’m very keen on taking her for a drink despite the language barrier. But it seems all she does is work, based on what she said. I reckon this might be challenging but worth a punt? (2) The distance is massive but I find it intriguing how keen she is vs girls back home, so I’d be keen to pursue especially if she is keen? Post this holiday.

Without massively overthinking it, how best to proceed as this has been challenging but so far has had good results, and improves my game? I know I’ve been a bit slow and the clocks ticking till I go home, but based on past experiences I didn’t want to react, till it became super obvious. I know, could mean the beach doesn’t happen 😂😂
