I used to travel a ton for work so tinder down south worked alright....but that was temporarily (2-3 days per city).

Now a permanent job offer in Nashville Tennessee opened up....but I have some serious concerns:

I'm mixed(black/white) so I sometimes get confused with indian or latino....I get tagged as all sorts of races and wonder how it will be perceived down there.

Some questions....

1.I heard everybody is married off by 25 down south....true? I'm a single guy who's 29...I wont be the old guy in the bar? I don't club as much and love live music....would hate for the above to be true.

  1. I like the whole rainbow for dating...Indians, Asians, black, latino. Lack of diversity in Nashville or the south? Any opposition or weird looks if I walk down the street with another race?

  2. Outside of tinder, bars, clubs, how do most southerns meet people....please don't tell me church. I'm nt religious

4.I'm an app developer....is there any backlash against tech bros who has moved in? Nashville has a booming tech industry so I've heard.

  1. Kinda dumb....but given it's a huge music mecca, I assume lots of young starlets coming to town and looking for attractive dudes along with music success is a norm? I'm a former pro-concert photographer so meeting women in the music scene wouldn't be too hard I assume....everybody loves a good photog and web developer.

  2. Gaming southern women? I'll assume easier but will I get tons of crap for not being white?

  3. Are Nashville and women around that area attractive?

  4. I have other areas I can move to for jobs like Austin, texas or Denver(not quite south). This was the first job offer out the gate so I can definitely wait out for other locations/city...currently in Chicago area and hate winter/high taxes/dead infrastructure. Would love to get out to a warm place again.

  5. Rampant obesity or pretty southern princesses? I've heard both stereotypes about the southern.
