This is my first post here but I have read all of the introductory guides and have learned the basics. Just a little background about myself - I am 22 and would consider just my looks to be about average [7], but my personality and DHV traits substantially higher. I go to a relatively prestigious school, have a high paying co-op, and am one of the top rowers on my school's crew team. I have managed to date some HB9's due to exposing these traits, but I doubt my looks alone could have managed to acquire these sort of females. The most attractive girl I dated was a friend of a friend who got to know a lot about me through this person which helped me out a lot.

I have not been so lucky with getting girls above my own physical attractiveness level that are just random encounters at a bar/etc. My goal is to F-close or similar with HB8+ range girls. I have minimal AA, but have found a level of disinterest if I try and go too far out of my regular attractiveness range. A couple things I've thought of are: I could try to DHV more quickly and risk coming off as cocky or blatantly trying to impress, or I could strike up conversation with these HB8+ girls (who are almost always willing to talk, but sometimes give body language of minimal sexual interest) while seeming harmless and then subtly DHV then move in more aggressively.

It might come as not too surprising that when I do get with a girl I'm generally quite good with keeping them, as would be opposed to someone who is very physically attractive but has nothing going for them. I find moving into a relationship with a girl that has a small crush on me to be very easy. I'm not looking for a relationship right now, I just want to exploit my attractive characteristics to get 1 night stands with better looking females.

TL;DR: I have pulled very attractive females via DHV usually through girls who know me, but when I try to meet random girls who do not know me I am hindered by being of only 'average' attractiveness.
