tl;dr 18 year-old male in high school, been a beta for a while, started feeling a lot more positive and confident overnight.

I've been lurking seddit for a few months now, and I've been working largely on personality reform. Learning the game is important, sure, but getting the right personality seems like much more to me.

Anyway, I've been reading some tl;dr posts about being positive, confident, and one that really summed it up amazingly was this one. That post, because it's so concise, is very easy to keep in mind all day, and I think it's largely responsible for my sudden personality shift. I have, in the last two days, become much more confident, positive, and just overall fun. I've stopped getting humor and conversation out of negative stuff ("God I'm so tired", "Man that grade 9 science teacher was a bitch").

Now, it wasn't a complete overhaul; it's still a work in progress. I haven't completely eliminated negativity, I haven't completely overcome my beta tendencies. But it's been a massive change, and it feels fantastic, so thank you, seddit, and MaysonNSS in particular.

So for those of you still working on it, I'd highly recommend the above link; keep it in mind. It's done wonders for me, and I bet it can for you, too.
