So I've been at my staples recently to check out their weekly laptop deals and I noticed a cute girl working the cashier. Today I decided to go in there and get her number. As she was cashing me out I made a joke about staples being my second home because I had been in there so much recently. She gave a slight smile, nothing major. She seemed kind of shy so I figured I wouldn't get any kind of a good reading if she was into me so I just went for it and said

"This might sound a little weird, but would you wanna grab coffee sometime?" To which she laughed and said "Is this serious" and I said "yea, why not?" She said sure and I asked for her number and I gave her mine. Walking out of there I felt amazing

So to all those who doubt yourself, I literally knew nothing about this girl, approached her at work, and got her number just by asking. If you can convince yourself to walk up to somebody the hard part is over, once you are there it almost takes more effort not to ask
