I had my first Pilates group class at college today and it was way more fun than I expected. While waiting outside, one girl introduced herself and we had a quick chat before class. After the lesson I talked with another girl, asked if she liked it and if she’d come back next week.

I was literally the only male in a class of about 50 women, which felt a bit surreal at first but everyone was welcoming.

Now I’m wondering: should I keep going to the same Pilates class every week to build more connections, or also try other group activities like the running club, Zumba, or something else?

Would love to hear how others approach this—stick to one activity to get to know people, or sample a few to widen the circle?

For reference: 30 male, studying accounting. Barely any potential in my own classes.
