The movies is probably the worst thing you could have invited her to. Here's how you recover. Since you're a noob, which is 100% ok, find an exciting/scary/unexpected scene in the movie and use that to sort of lean into her and give you a reason to place your hand on her leg. The only reason I'm even telling you to wait for that scene is because it's going to feel awkward as fuck, but keep it there. During other exciting scenes squeeze her leg and look at her with a surprised/scared/amazed look. At the end of the night go for the kiss, end of the night being by her car, not during the movie. I'm telling you the bare minimum because I'll put $1,000 you will be apprehensive to do this, but baby step. You'll get there ;).

idk about the movies... but id spend 30 minutes before going on the date just talking to random girls at like a mall or smth. but try not to be too nervous, this is your first date, so treat it as a learning experience
